After viewing the replays it was established that driver K Cameron (STYLE COUNCIL) had commenced his outward movement prior to PLAYING WITH STARS reaching his sulky wheel and accordingly no further action was required.

ICEE STYXIE - when questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley advised the mare had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed a slow recovery and inflammation of the airway which will be treated.

Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards had spoken to driver R Close (FLYAWAY) placed 3rd, to ascertain whether he wished to lodge a protest after GEORGIE ZUKOV had shifted into the passing lane. Mr Close advised his chances had not been affected and elected not to proceed with a protest.
