Race 1   PURDON & PHELAN - ATC's 2024 LEADING TRAINERS MOBILE PACE
DOUBLE JEOPARDY - weakened rounding the final turn. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Dickie could offer no explanation other than the early effort when attempting to hold the lead may of taken its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 2   ALABAR YEARLINGS SELLING KARAKA 15 FEB MOBILE PACE
CHRISTIES ART - when questioned regarding the performance Driver J Dickie could offer no explanation for the disappointing run.
SECRET BID - paced roughly passing the 200m.
KOWALSKI - lay inwards near the 200m.
IN THE SUMMERTIME - raced wide early. The near side saddle cloth number became detached during the running.
Race 3   CRYSTAL HACKETT - ATC'S 2024 LEADING JUNIOR DRIVER HCP TROT
LOVEMEAGAIN - shifted out as the start was effected briefly hampering an outside runner.
VORONOV - briefly hampered at the start.
FAITH IN MANCHESTER - when questioned regarding the performance Driver T Mitchell advised that he had not received a trail into the race as hoped, after the three wide line failed to progress racing down the back the final time, but was satisfied with the manner in which the mare ran on over the final stages. Mr Mitchell reported that he was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.
LORD POPINJAY - pre-race warmed. Raced up the track rounding the first turn after reaching the lead which enabled the trailing LOVEMEAGAIN to improve to its inside briefly entering the back straight the first time before improving to cross to the marker line near the 1600m. Over-raced for a distance middle stages.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD 2025 YEARLING DRAFT JUNIOR DRIVERS MOB PACE
POWER N GLORY - weakened rounding the final turn.
IRON BRIGADE - worked forward to lead near the 1600m. Received midrace pressure from ULTIMATE RACY GIRL before being run down into 5th place.
SEASIDE ROSE - over-raced middle stages.
Race 5   GOLDEN GAIT RETURNS FOR 2025 - SOUTH OF THE BOMBAYS MOB PACE
LEWEY MAGUIRE - over-raced middle stages. Held up from the 100m when disappointed for a run in the passing lane.
PAPENHUYZEN - raced wide early.
PROVISEUR - over-raced middle stages.
Race 6   BRECKON FARMS AT KARAKA 2025 - SOUTH OF THE BOMBAYS MOB PACE
SAVARNA - Driver R Fensom reported that he elected not to activate the sliding blinds as the mare was responding well when being driven out.
LOUIE V TONNE - raced wide early before crossing to the parked position near the 1650m. Over-raced middle stages.
SISTER LOVE - broke entering the first turn losing ground. Paced roughly rounding the final turn and broke losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
Race 7   ZACHARY BUTCHER - ATC'S 2024 LEADING DRIVER MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control.
CHANGE TACT - paced roughly then broke late in the score up losing ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
LINCOLN LOU - paced roughly approaching the first turn losing ground.
ANNA - broke rounding the final turn losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
Race 8   2025 NZB STANDARDBRED NATIONAL YEARLING SALE HCP TROT
SASSY STAR - authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld after this mare shifted down into the passing lane over the final stages of the run home. After questioning Driver M McKendry and viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied that no unfair advantage had been gained over the 4th placed BARSUKOV and placings were duly authorised. Mr McKendry was warned to make a greater effort to prevent his drive shifting into the passing lane given similar circumstances in the future. Mr McKendry advised that he would be recommending a gear change to connections.
MAZEPPA - broke briefly at the start then was slow early losing considerable ground. Weakened in the run home.
SANS AU REVOIR - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Slow early losing ground. Driver H Orange reported that he had been unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
ROMEO FOXTROT - Driver Z Butcher reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
