Race 1   CAVALIER TROTTING PRODUCTS - NORTH CANTERBURY TROTTING TROT
ALDEBARAN REDWOOD - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
INQUIZITIVE MAN - broke racing into the first bend crowding inside runners and losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
BACARDI DOLL - hampered by an outside runner racing into the first bend.
RAKERO ACE - broke near the 50m and continued on in a break across the finish line.
SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
NATIVES BLAZIN SON - broke passing the 50m and continued on in a break across the finish line.
TESSAMAE - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Paced away having to be broken up by its driver losing ground. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
B K MUMMA JAMIE - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
WATERLOO STATION - crowded by an outside runner racing into the first bend. Struck a track marker rounding the first bend. Broke near the 1300m losing all chance.
VOLSTONE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
Race 2   COUNTRY FEASTS LTD MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared due to MIKI SKIPPER proving fractious leaving the pre-race formation checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver J Dunn elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
THE HIGHWAYMAN - paced roughly and broke in the score up of the restart and was out of position at the start. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
MIKI SKIPPER - again became fractious leaving the pre-race formation for the restart and was out of position at the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming. Connections advised the gelding will be sent for a spell.
NEWBIEMAINS ARDEN - hung inwards throughout the run home causing driver S Ottley some difficulty.
SAM SNEAD - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 3   CANTERBURY BREEDERS (JOAN BELCHER LEGACY) MOBILE PACE
NILA MAREE - paced roughly in the early stages having to be steadied hampering a trailing runner.
SHE'S A MAJOR ACT - held up rounding the final bend.
GRAZIE - raced wide early.
ROCKCENT - raced wide early.
MANDALA - raced wide from the 1000m.
JENA - raced wide from the 1000m.
GOOD TIME BETTY - hampered in the early stages. Paced roughly near the 1100m.
CHOCOLATE CRUNCH - shifted outwards marginally after 200m.
BAILEYS PLEASURE - broke after 200m when placed in restricted room after runners either side shifted ground marginally losing ground. After viewing the replays Stewards were unable to apportion blame to any one horse or driver and took the matter no further. Weakened final bend.
TIPSTAR - shifted inwards marginally after 200m.
Race 4   RANGIORA NEW WORLD MOBILE PACE
APATCHOFGOLD - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver J Curtin advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
SAMVASA - driver C DeFilippi admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
MILLWOOD GODDESS - raced wide early. Held up throughout the run home.
ANYTIME AT ALL - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver S Ottley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
IDEAL CHEVRON - lay outwards throughout the run home and significantly over the final 50m briefly crowding an outside runner having to be straightened by driver J Cox.
RAZORS EDGE - briefly crowded near the 50m.
Race 5   HSW ACCOUNTANTS - PROMED EDGEWARE DOCTORS TROT
PENELOPE HALL - cast a bell boot early in the run home.
TRANSTASMAN BUBBLE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room rounding the final bend and in the run home. Driver J Curtin advised he did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds in consequence.
POPNROCK - hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend.
SILVESTER - raced wide early. Hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend. Held up early in the run home.
SIGNAL HILL - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1200m. Hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend.
LAVRA SEGIL - hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend. Trotted roughly in the run home.
HIGH NOON - trotted roughly near the 1400m. Raced wide from the 1300m.
A LATE LATE PRESSY - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
MANAKAU BLAZE - raced wide from the 1400m.
SPANISH PRINCESS - broke near the 400m hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 6   GLENN SCOTT MEMORIAL HANDICAP PACE
DANCE MONKEY - a post-race veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed a wound on the off-hind leg which was treated and mild lameness. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
PURE COURAGE - raced wide early.
STYLE COUNCIL - reared as the start was effected losing ground. Held up early in the run home.
Race 7   G.K. FYFE PAINTING "MAKING IT HAPPEN" HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared due to the front barrier strand failing to release.
CRAZY N LOVE - broke near the 1500m losing ground. Broke again near the 400m losing ground.
DIAMOND HARBOUR - broke after 150m hampering trailing runners losing ground. Weakened from the 600m.
ALI LINDENNY - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner after 150m. Weakened from the 500m.
ILLEGAL ALIEN - lay inwards and struck a track marker leaving the final bend.
MUSCLYNN - trainer P Wakelin advised the mare would be racing in season.
DIDJABRINGTHEBUBBLES - fractious prior to the restart. Broke at the restart losing all chance.
NOAH MAGNIFIC - broke after 200m losing ground.
HOLLY HIGHLANDER - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.

TEMPO WARRIOR - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver S Ottley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
WOODBINE ROCKS - crowded by HERE'S HERBIE racing into the first bend and broke after locking wheels with DOUBLE TIME losing ground.
HERE'S HERBIE - driver C DeFilippi defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly when shifting ground racing into the first bend and crowding WOODBINE ROCKS (G O'Reilly) which broke after locking wheels with an inside runner. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers and Stewards the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr DeFilippi's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 16 February up to and including 22 February 2025 (2 days).
BLACK MACH - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened from the 400m.
DOUBLE TIME - crowded by outside runners and locked wheels with WOODBINE ROCKS racing into the first bend losing ground.
TANZANIA - broke at the start losing ground.
COMMANDER BEN - tangled away.
AUDACITY - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
WHO'S DELIGHT - broke at the start losing ground. Lay inwards and shifted into the passing lane early in the run home having to be corrected by driver J Dunn.
Race 9   VALLEY INN TAVERN HANDICAP TROT
BLINK N BONES - broke racing into the first bend checking and hampering trailing runners losing ground. Driver B Ford defended a charge under Rule 870(1)(2)(a) alleging he failed to take his breaking runner clear of the field at the earliest opportunity. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Ford the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $300.
GINAS MAJESTY - broke briefly and trotted roughly racing into the first bend.
ROYAL DEL - checked and broke rounding the first bend losing ground.
PARIS PRINCE - checked by a breaking runner racing into the first bend and broke losing ground.
SODS LAW - raced wide early. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
BULLIT TRAIN - raced wide early. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
Race 10   TYRE GENERAL AMBERLEY MOBILE PACE
EVIDENTLY - weakened rounding the final bend.
GEM N EM - weakened early in the run home.
HI HOPES - raced wide early.
ONWARDSANDUPWARDS - raced wide early.
JUST ASK PADDY - checked racing into the first bend losing ground. Held up early in the run home. Shifted inwards near the 100m when driver G Thornley activated the removable deafeners crowding an inside runner. Stewards questioned Miss Thornley in relation to this incident and after considering her explanation and viewing the replays a warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Miss Thornley advised she would be recommending gear changes. Notwithstanding this Miss Thornley was also spoken to advisedly for the manner in which she drove near the 100m.
RAGAZZO MAJOR - checked racing into the first bend losing ground. Raced wide from the 900m.
LIGHT ME UP - broke racing into the first bend when racing to the inside of DON JUAN which shifted ground inwards with trailing runners being checked losing all chance and was retired from the race. Stewards questioned drivers B Orange (LIGHT ME UP) and R Harrison (DON JUAN) assisted by J Morrison, regarding LIGHT ME UP breaking and after considering their evidence Mr Orange was issued a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly when failing to concede his position. Mr Orange admitted the charge and after viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Orange's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 9 February up to and including 16 February 2025 (4 days).
MIDNIGHT BABE - checked and broke racing into the first bend losing all chance and was retired from the race.
KNOCKSHANBALLY - checked and broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
DON JUAN - crowded by an outside runner near the 100m having to be steadied.
Race 11   DAWE CONTRACTING LTD - DAVIS OGILVIE MOBILE PACE
