THE GREEK FREAK - tangled away and tailed the field throughout.
PHISHING - driver T Robertson admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Robertson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 23 February 2025 (2 days).
JAY BEE HILL - broke at the start hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
ROSE ISLE - trotted roughly in the run home.
MAJESTIC CHALLEN - lay in rounding the bends.
MADISON'S MOON - hampered by a breaking runner at the start and broke in consequence losing all chance.
GASHERBRUM - briefly hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Lay out and trotted roughly in the run home and was unable to be fully driven out by driver K Tomlinson.

RAKAVENOM - lay out at various stages. Held up final bend and early in the run home until obtaining clear running passing the 120m.
BABE ON THE BEACH - held up through the middle stages of the run home. Driver C Ferguson admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $275.
Race 3   PHILLIPS HORSE TRANSPORT / NIGHT 'N DAY GORE TROT
The start was delayed due to the sulky on BLITHE having to be replaced.
JUSTINE JACCKA - lay in throughout the run home having to be corrected and was unable to be fully driven out by driver N Williamson.
HAIL STONE - trotted roughly and broke shortly after the start hampering trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened in the run home.
SON OF THE CLEANER - lay out in the run home.
LIL WHIP - pre-race warmed. Hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.

LA BAMBA - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
REIVER - broke near the 1550m losing considerable ground. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
DONALD TROT - raced wide early.
TINDER ROSE - Stewards questioned driver K Tomlinson regarding the tactics she adopted near the 400m when electing to remain in the running line when the opportunity presented to shift out into the three wide line to progress forward. Miss Tomlinson explained she elected not to shift out and follow ULTIMATE PERFECTION forward in the three wide line due to the manner in which that runner was pacing at the time. After hearing her explanation and viewing the replays Stewards noted Miss Tomlinson's comments.
MIGHTY MIKI - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start and broke losing ground. Broke again near the 1550m losing further ground. Lay out rounding the final bend and was then placed in restricted room before breaking on a further occasion and contacting the sulky shaft of TINDER ROSE. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Lost a racing plate during the running.
TOP POCKET CHANCE - raced wide early.
ULTIMATE PERFECTION - lay out and paced roughly rounding the final bend then broke losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 5   TRANSPORT REPAIRS LTD MOBILE PACE
GLENKENICK - lay out in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages.
GEMS DELIGHT - raced wide early.
HAROLD HANOVER - raced three wide with cover until the 900m then without cover thereafter. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 200m.
HERE'S JOHNY - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 900m.
KELTIC TIGER - raced wide early.
MONTAGE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 200m.
CALIFORNIA DREAMING - broke passing the 200m hampering outside runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SUMMIT ULTRA - held up for clear racing room throughout the run home. Driver R Close reported he did not activate the sliding blinds as a consequence.
ROBYNS ART - out of position at the candy pole however was in position at the start. Driver H Douglas was issued with a warning. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 200m.
Race 6   PETERS GENETICS TROT
The start was delayed with the field being turned away when Starter B Ward was not satisfied with the way runners on the outside of the front line approached the barrier strand.
PETITE TRIXTON - broke passing the 100m losing all chance.
WANNA SNUGGLE - broke at the start losing all chance.
TOP OF THE HILL - tangled away. Broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
ERROL D - trotted roughly in the early stages. Broke near the 1600m losing all chance.
Race 7   OLYMPIC WATCHES AT VAN DE WATER JEWELLERS MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed approximately 4 minutes due to PUTERE BOY requiring farrier attention.
KENSI - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
LORD FANTASY - lay out rounding the final bend and the early stages of the run home.
ULTIMATE WEAPON - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
PUTERE BOY - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer B McIntyre advised that last week the gelding had performed well in a race not run to suit and had trained on well prior to today, adding he was not surprised by the forward showing.
MACK PACK - when questioned regarding the performance of the favoured runner trainer/driver M Williamson advised he was disappointed and could offer no explanation.
MATAU MARIA - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
Race 8   GORE TOWN & COUNTRY CLUB SUMMER CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
INSARCHATWIST - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer R Gutsell advised that the mare's previous start had not been run to suit however the horse had trained well in the lead up to racing today and he was not surprised by the forward showing.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - broke at the start losing ground. Stood down to trial on one occasion from a standing start to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200m.
HACKSAW RIDGE - broke at the start losing ground. Lay in rounding the final bend dislodging a track marker.
BOBBIES ROCK - broke at the start losing ground. Paced roughly throughout the run home. The offside spreader broke near the 300m. This gear was subsequently inspected and found to be in previous good condition.
STILL ROCKIN - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again passing the 1200m hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was also placed on the racing record of the gelding.
HOMEBUSH LAD - made several unsuccessful attempts to reach the lead through the middle stages.
Race 9   EBONY & IVORY HAIRDEZIGN / T K SHANKS EXCAVATING MOBILE PACE
THE WULVER - shifted out abruptly rounding the final bend despite the efforts of driver M Williamson.
EMERALD ABBEY - raced wide through the middle stages.
THE ORANGE ROUGHY - driver R Close was warned for the manner he shifted ground inwards near the 100m placing DURRANT in restricted room.
DURRANT - raced wide throughout. Placed in restricted room near the 100m.
ROBYNS HUSTLER - broke when negotiating the crossing near the 1500m losing ground.
ALWAYS ON SALE - raced wide throughout.
Race 10   KIM McDOWALL PAINTING & DECORATING GORE CUP (HCP TROT)
SAMANTHAS MOON - broke at the start hampering trailing runners losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - broke at the start hampering outside runners losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again rounding the final bend losing all chance.
ONE TWO MENNY - broke briefly passing the 200m then trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
RATA - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Broke racing over the crossing near the 1500m losing ground. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
JULIE JACCKA - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
DOMINATION'S CALL - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
HIDDEN TALENT - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered. Stewards spoke with Mr Williamson regarding the mare shifting ground in the run home and not maintaining a straight line. Mr Williamson explained that at this mare's previous start when finishing wide on the track she had shied at the crowd when obtaining the lead therefore today he elected to shift down the track when well clear of other runners to avoid a repeat of the previous start. Stewards noted Mr Williamson's comments.
JIMMY CARTER - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
Race 11   MICHAEL & LYNETTE HEADS 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MOB PACE
PARADISE VALLEY - contacted and dislodged a track marker near the 450m. Junior Driver M Hill was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice.
RAKNRUIN - raced wide early. Checked by a breaking runner near the 700m and broke in consequence losing ground.
BETTER BE WATCHING - raced wide early.
BOMBAY GLACIER - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer A Paisley advised that the mare was suited by today's race when saved for one run.
MATAI HARRY - required the assistance of a Starting Attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver A Milne.
CLAASEE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver R McIlwrick. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
LORTON VALE - raced wide early. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 700m.
IDEAL CHEVRON - broke briefly passing the 700m checking and hampering trailing runners losing ground. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. Paced roughly final bend when weakening.

CAPTAIN STARLIGHT - lay out over the concluding stages having to be straightened by driver N Williamson. Mr Williamson was warned for the manner he shifted ground near the 1450m placing MAGNETIC BECKERS in restricted room.
FALCONS WATCH - over-raced and raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 950m. Weakened over the concluding stages.
MOUTON CADET - held up in the run home. Driver J Cox reported he did not release the removable deafeners as a consequence.
