Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. HANDICAP TROT
LAVRA SEGIL - lay inwards rounding the first bend striking track markers. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
ALDEBARAN CRYSTAL - broke after 200m losing considerable ground. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had broken in excess of 150m in the early stages. After viewing the replays connections did not contest the protest and ALDEBARAN CRYSTAL was disqualified by the Stewards.
T K MEGASTAR - driver R Holmes advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
DARK GHANA - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
ROYAL GRACE - raced wide from the 700m. Weakened final bend.
SOLEMN SON - trotted roughly for a distance passing the 900m.
SILVESTER - weakened early in the run home.
BRIANNA - broke after 200m losing all chance and was retired from the race after the tyre came off the rim while in a break.

DELIGHTFUL PEG - paced roughly and broke after 150m losing ground. Broke again near the 700m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
SHARD DE ARCH - driver S Ottley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
THE BETTOR MAJOR - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
FREDASTAIRE - held up early in the run home.
MY FRIEND LOUIE - raced wide early. Broke near the 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
MARYANNE GOLIGHTLY - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Holmes was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
Race 3   AOTEA ELECTRIC CANTERBURY PACE
A false start was declared when PURE COURAGE shifted inwards prior to the start crowding inside runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver R Holmes elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
STYLE COUNCIL - required assistance from a Starting Attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BAD HABITS - raced wide early. Weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Ferguson advised the gelding had worked hard in the early stages and was not suited to racing in the parked position with the effort taking its toll.
STUNNA - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
HE'S A BAY - weakened leaving the final bend.
HEAVEN - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Paced roughly in the run home.
HE'S TOUGH - held up final bend.
FOURTH AMENDMENT - held up early in the run home.
Race 4   BUY A WOODLANDS STAR 15TH FEBRUARY 2025 TROT
CORMORAN STRIKE - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
PREMIUM PLAYER - lay inwards and struck a track marker rounding the first bend. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
HIGH STEP - broke at the start losing all chance.
RUSH - connections advised the mare has had its joints treated since last racing. Broke passing the 200m and continued on in a break across the finish line. Stewards lodged a protest against 3rd placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and RUSH was disqualified by the Stewards. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
KNOWING ME - fractious prior to the start. Weakened final bend before breaking near the 400m hampering trailing runners losing all chance.
REGAL SIERRA - connections advised the mare would be racing in foal.
MAUI - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
Race 5   BOOK NOW FOR "TEAM TEAL" FUNDRAISER 14TH MARCH MOBILE PACE
FIVE CROWNS - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Lay inwards and struck a track marker rounding the final bend.
DAVE DULEY - raced greenly passing the 1400m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
TOKYO ROSE - raced wide early.
EVANGALIST - over-raced middle stages.
FOLLOW YOUR DREAM - held up final bend and early in the run home. Driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds in consequence.
SONG SUNG BLUE - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
HERE'S HERBIE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver C DeFilippi. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide from the 900m. When questioned regarding the performance Mr DeFilippi advised the gelding had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
BETTERTHANCASH - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 6   BARRON BLOODSTOCK "CLASS OF 2025" 2YO MOBILE PACE
JUST US TWO - weakened final bend.
BURT - paced roughly shortly after the start losing ground. Again paced roughly final bend and lay inwards striking a track marker.

THE BLOSS - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
ONE MHOR FOR HEATHER - broke at the start losing all chance.
JUDY J - late scratching at 10.50am on Veterinary advice.
THE PRESENT MAKER - pre-race warmed. Trotted roughly and switched to a pace racing into the first bend before breaking losing all chance and was retired from the race. Cast a bell boot while in a break. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the near front heel which was treated.
BARRYTOWN - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
Race 8   STUDHOLME BLOODSTOCK "JOIN OUR WINNING TRADITION" HCP PACE
SKY ROCKET - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend.
DANCE TILL DAWN - began awkwardly.
DOUBLE TIME - late scratching at 5.20pm on Veterinary advice.
WAG STAR - paced roughly shortly after the start losing ground.
WHO'S DELIGHT - broke briefly at the start. Lay inwards near the 100m and had to be straightened by driver G Smith.

SUNNY LOUIS - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
ONE EL - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
MM SUNSHINE - broke near the 900m hampering trailing runners losing all chance.
RACHMANINOV - lay inwards striking track markers rounding the first bend. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
WHO'S QUEEN - pre-race warmed. Broke after 100m losing considerable ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m. Weakened at the 600m.
Race 10   NZB STANDARDBRED SALES WEEK 2025 MOBILE PACE
LOVEYOURMOTHER - over-raced middle stages. Locked wheels with KAIRAKI VEGAS near the 100m when both runners shifted ground marginally losing all chance.
JENA - held up early stages of the run home.
TOSANA - a post-race veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed a slow recovery.
LOCHDARRAGH - broke after 150m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
CRUSHER LOU - lay inwards final bend striking track markers.
KAIRAKI VEGAS - locked wheels with LOVEYOURMOTHER near the 100m when both runners shifted ground marginally losing all chance. After viewing the films Stewards were satisfied that no one horse or driver was at fault given the minimal movement by either runner.
BEVERLEY COURTNEY - over-raced middle stages.
DAISY DIANA - back from the unruly position at the start. Paced roughly in the run home.
Race 11   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
SPIRITUAL BLISS - over-raced middle stages. Hung outwards and over-raced near the 600m making contact with the sulky wheel of HA'PENNY despite the efforts of driver J Morrison. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
TOUCH N GO - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
LORD MUDRICK - hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Held up near the 300m.
KING ARTHUR - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
GIRLSHAVTIME - connections advised the mare would be racing in season.
MELTON MAGNATE - over-raced middle stages. Held up early in the run home. Paced roughly late in the run home.
WESTAR MOLLY - lay inwards leaving the final bend striking and racing inside a track marker.
SOFIA ROSE - raced wide early and middle stages.
HA'PENNY - driver J Curtin advised he received a punctured sulky tyre near the 600m.
OAKLEY SHARD - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
SOPHIA BROMAC - raced four wide from the 700m.
SWEET TARTAN - lay inwards and broke briefly near the 400m when being shifted wider on the track.
