Connections advised Stewards on 7 February that LOTUS FRANCO had recovered well following its last start and will be continuing with the current preparation.

Trainer B Negus advised Stewards on 7 February that MAJOR LINC has recovered well since its last start. Mr Negus added that the effort of racing parked for the majority of the event combined with the fast tempo of the race had taken its toll on the gelding.

Race 1   BUY A WOODLANDS STAR 15th FEBRUARY 2025 MOBILE TROT
PEAKNMONKEY - held up throughout the run home. Driver R Close advised he did not activate the sliding blinds in consequence.
MARKTHEWARRIOR - held up early in the run home.
KAWHI - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced three wide from the 800m before being forced to race four wide from the 700m.
MOSES - raced wide early.
KD ROYALTY - broke near the 600m losing ground.
FORGIVENESS - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the candy pole. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Lay inwards over the concluding stages and trotted roughly.
SWITCH ON - over-raced middle stages. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend and broke near the 300m losing all chance.
ASPIRATIONAL DREAM - raced wide from the 700m.
Race 2   TYRE GENERAL MOBILE PACE
CRUSHER LOU - held up throughout the run home. Driver R May advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
READY TO DREAM - raced wide early. Raced greenly near the 1100m when leading.
Race 3   BARRON BLOODSTOCK "CLASS OF 2025" F&M MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when SWEET TARTAN broke in the score up checking an outside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. The boring pole was removed prior to the restart and driver J Morrison elected to remain in his allocated barrier position. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
SWEET DREAMS - weakened final bend.
BESIDE ME - driver C Dalgety advised the filly had cast the off fore shoe during the running.
DANCING DESIRE - hung inwards final bend losing ground. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley reported the mare had been unable to make ground from the rear of the field due to the fast closing sectionals.
AINT NO ANGEL - over-raced and hung outwards in the score up and was unable to take up its correct barrier position at the start despite the efforts of driver B Williamson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Over-raced early stages. Weakened final bend.
Race 4   YABBY DAM FARMS SELLING AT NZB 2025 MOBILE TROT
WHO'S QUEEN - pre-race warmed.
HIGH INTENSITY - pre-race warmed. Lay inwards near the 900m striking track markers. Driver J Dunn advised the mare had been striking a knee. A post-race veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed an abrasion on the left knee which was treated.
READY SET JET - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
STYX JEWEL - weakened final bend.
REGAL SIERRA - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Hampered by a breaking runner for a distance passing the 900m. Held up early in the run home. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
TU TANGATA - lay inwards and broke near the 900m after striking track markers hampering a trailing runner and continued on in a break despite the efforts of driver P Nairn losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Trainer P Nairn advised Stewards on 13 February that TU TANGATA has had its knees and hocks treated since last racing.
Race 5   FAHEY FENCE HIRE (53rd) NZ BREEDERS STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
RUBY ROE - held up leaving the final bend.
LAKELSA - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
DANCE TILL DAWN - held up final bend and early in the run home.
ALL YOU NEED IS ME - pre-race warmed. Raced wide early.
CARDI B - raced wide from the 700m.
Race 6   CONTINENTAL EVENT HIRE SUMMER FFA (MOBILE TROT)
SUNNY LOUIS - weakened leaving the final bend.
TE RAPA - pre-race warmed. Hung inwards and trotted roughly final bend.
MIDNIGHT DASH - lay inwards final bend striking a track marker.
ONE OVER ALL - lay inwards into the passing lane late in the run home despite the efforts of driver G Smith. Authorisation of 1st placing being awarded was withheld until driver J Dunn (MIDNIGHT DASH) placed 2nd, confirmed his chances had not been affected.
Race 7   BRECKON FARMS 2025 YEARLING DRAFT 'HARNESS 5000' MOB PACE
A false start was declared when RACIE DALE broke late in the score up checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver W House elected to shift to the unruly position for the restart. Trainer M House advised he would be adding an over-check to the gelding's gear.
INTERRORGATOR - over-raced middle stages. Hampered near the 1100m. Lay outwards near the 650m despite the efforts of driver J Dunn checking ROYAL BELLE which broke losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Held up throughout the run home. Mr Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners and sliding blinds in consequence.
A GIRL NAMED VINNY - raced greenly and shifted up the track near the 1100m hampering outside and trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
ROYAL BELLE - over-raced middle stages. Hampered near the 1100m. Checked and broke near the 650m losing ground. Weakened in the run home.
RACIE DALE - hampered near the 1100m.
VESTA - hampered near the 1100m.
HERE COMES MARTY - hampered near the 1100m.
DR GACHET - hampered near the 1100m. Weakened in the run home.
ROCKOUTRAY - hampered near the 1100m.
Race 8   STUDHOLME BLOODSTOCK "JOIN OUR WINNING TRADITION" MOB PACE
TAKETHEPLUNGE - weakened rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Cox advised the gelding had over-raced in the parked position with the effort taking its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
JUST FOXIN - weakened leaving the final bend.
TOKYO ROSE - lay inwards early and middle stages of the run home causing driver S Ottley some difficulty.
