FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - crowded late in the run home.
ESSENCE OF EASTON - checked by a breaking runner near the 1500 metres.
VINTAGE ROSE - crowded late in the run home.
THE ARTFUL DODGER - broke when racing over the crossing near the 1500 metres checking trailing runners and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.

THE POWER BROKER - over-raced in the middle stages.
CAEN - broke near the 200 metres. Driver S Tomlinson reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre on the final bend.
DONALD TRUMP - trotted roughly in the early stages. Broke near the 150 metres.
JOEDIUM - shifted outwards shortly after the start and was very slow to begin severely checking a trailing runner. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts. Broke near the 700 metres losing ground. Driver M Hurrell reported the bit on the gelding had pulled through its mouth during the running causing him difficulty.
THE BRONX BOMBER - weakened from the 1100 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the filly.
IN THE GROOVE - driver B Barclay admitted a charge that he drove carelessly when shifting ground outwards near the 400 metres by allowing his runner to strike the sulky wheel of CAEN which punctured. After hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
HOT SAUCY BETTY - checked at the start losing all chance.
BIRCH - broke near the 1000 metres losing ground. Broke again near the 500 metres for a short distance.
WESTLAND PEAK - broke after 100 metres losing ground. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied this mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation at this stage of the race. Driver B Orange reported he was unable to drive the mare out over the concluding stages due to it trotting roughly.
GRANNY ROSE - raced wide in the early stages.
Race 3   GORE WINDSCREENS & GLASS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
CELTIC ABBEY - held up in the early stages of the run home. Paced roughly over the concluding stages.
BROMAC HYPE - when asked to comment on the improved performance trainer P Luzumova advised the mare had undergone a change of training regime since its last start which included riding her while doing hill work with the horse also responding well from the addition of sliding blinds today.
ELLZ ANGEL - lay inwards throughout the run home.
NETHERTON FRANCO - raced wide in the early stages.
SEVENTH HEAVEN - hung inwards in the score-up hampering trailing runners. When asked to comment on the performance trainer/driver K Barclay expressed her disappointment and advised that the filly had felt lethargic throughout. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
ROCK MY MIND - broke racing over the crossing near the 1500 metres losing all chance. Driver C Ferguson reported that the mare had attempted to jump the crossing and he would be recommending that this horse be restricted to racing on all weather tracks for its immediate racing future.
SWEDISH STARLET - held up for clear racing room for the majority of the run home with driver B Barclay reporting he did not release the removable deafeners as a consequence.
B SMART - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
SANTERIA - hampered late in the score-up. Authorisation of dividends was withheld until the Stewards had viewed the films of the score-up and confirmed that although hampered in the score-up this mare's chances had not been materially prejudiced.

EILISH HALL - the required Veterinary clearance was received. Broke in the early stages losing ground.
DEM BONES DEM BONES - broke in the early stages losing ground.
DWINDLE STAR - driver P Williamson was warned for using his whip free of the rein in the middle stages of the run home.
SVELT - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened on the final bend.

CODY BANNER - broke near the 1900 metres losing ground. Raced wide without cover from the 1000 metres. Broke again near the 400 metres and late in the run home.
TOP POCKET CHANCE - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Held up on the final bend and until late in the run home. When asked to comment on the improved performance trainer C Buchan advised that the gelding had returned to the trotting gait today after previously racing as a pacer. Mr Buchan added that the horse had worked well in the lead up to the race and he was not surprised with the effort.
MAJESTIC ROSE - slow to begin. Broke in the early stages losing ground. Weakened on the final bend.
Race 5   ROY HENLEY MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
GALLEONS CONTENDER - paced roughly in the score-up before breaking as the start was effected losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened final bend.
CAPTAIN STARLIGHT - raced greenly late in the run home and struck and raced inside a track marker before shifting ground outwards despite the efforts of driver R McIlwrick. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied this gelding had not gained an advantage when racing inside a track marker over the concluding stages.
FOXFIRE EASTON - lay outwards in the run home.
CARRERA DANCE - broke in the score-up losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
FORTY WIVES - raced wide in the early stages.
GEORGIA AVEROSS - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
LOU'S DEAL - raced wide in the early stages. Broke near the 1400 metres after a slight easing of the pace, losing ground. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied this gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when breaking at this stage of the race.

Race 6   ARDEN LODGE FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
TANGIER TANGO - reared and fell to the ground when parading in the birdcage prior to the start dislodging driver S Ottley from the sulky. Underwent a Veterinary examination and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 2.48pm. Miss Ottley was unharmed in this incident.
HALEY ROBYN - broke shortly after the start and fell to the track dislodging driver C Ferguson from the sulky with Mr Ferguson making heavy contact with the running rail. Stewards immediately stopped the race with the field pulling up shortly afterwards. HALEY ROBYN was subsequently declared a late scratching on Veterinary advice however was cleared of any injury. Connections advised HALEY ROBYN would now be sent for a spell. The filly must trial satisfactorily on one occasion prior to resuming. Mr Ferguson was examined by the on-course Paramedics and cleared of any injury. As the field had only raced a short distance the race was eligible to be re-run with all remaining runners undergoing a Veterinary examination and being cleared to start.
COOL IDEA - broke late in the score-up checking trailing runners resulting in a false start being declared. Driver R McIlwrick elected to remain in his allotted barrier position for the re-start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
CLIFTON JESSIE - weakened on the final bend.
RAKANOTTA - weakened on the final bend.
JOYFULDOLLY - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened leaving the final bend. When asked to comment on the performance driver E Barron advised the filly had become stirred up following the false start and with the race being stopped.
AH MACH - raced wide in the early stages.
INSARCHATWIST - slow to leave the pre-race formation and was out of position at the start. Stewards took no action against the mare due to the delays to the start. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.

BIZZIE LOU - broke racing over the crossing near the 1500 metres losing all chance and was retired from the race.

Race 8   OLYMPIC WATCHES AT VAN DE WATER JEWELLERS MOBILE PACE
SUPERFAST - broke in the score-up losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 600 metres.
UNSURPASSABLE - broke shortly after the start hampering trailing runners losing its chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ZACH LOWE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 600 metres. Held up leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - driver J Morrison attempted to ease this gelding out of the race near the 1100 metres after the offside sulky shaft detached from the saddle when the quick hitch attachment broke however the horse commenced to race keenly and he was unable to do so until near the 600 metres. The gear was subsequently inspected with trainer D McLachlan deemed not be at fault.
I'M WATCHING YOU - held up in the early stages of the run home.
THE HIGH COMMANDER - broke passing the 600 metres hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BEEZ NEEZ - hampered by a breaking runner in the early stages.
IDEAL ROBYN - broke in the early stages of the score-up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

MYSTICAL STAR - slow to begin. Weakened on the final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a slow recovery.
MADRIK - broke in the early stages losing ground. Broke again near the 300 metres. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial prior to resuming.
KING OF THE NORTH - fractious prior to the start and swung sideways before falling to the track resulting in a delay to the start. Underwent a Veterinary examination and was cleared to start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Trotted roughly passing the 1400 metres having to be steadied.
Race 12   CARPET PLUS WILLY'S FLOORING MOBILE PACE
MIDFREW LUISIANABEAU - broke as the start was effected hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced in the middle stages.
I'M TROUBLE - when asked to comment on the improved performance driver R McIlwrick advised the gelding had received a favourable run throughout and races well on grass tracks.
R K FINN - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field. Held up for clear racing room until late in the run home.
MELTON MAFIA - raced wide in the early stages.
DOCTOR TIM - raced wide in the early stages.
PERONI - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
