HENRIK LUNDQVIST - over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 850m losing all chance.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke rounding the first turn hampering a trailing runner then settled in a pace losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
BOSS KENNY - Trainer Z Meredith was warned for failing to have the correct colours available. Driver P Ferguson was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement for failing to have his helmet chinstrap fastened in the preliminary. Trotted roughly at various stages throughout. Mr Ferguson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
QUERCUS RUBRA - broke after 100m losing all chance.
SWEET OLIVIA - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first turn. Broke approaching the 450m losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Race 2   EQUIVETS NZ MOBILE PACE
TRES BONNE FILLE - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to obtain cover.
RUTHERFORD - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear. When questioned regarding the performance Driver E Johnson could offer no explanation other than the gelding may not have backed up from its run on the first day. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality other than a minor laceration on the off hind leg.
MATAI LIZZIE - raced wide early.
MISS WOODVILLE - over-raced early stages.
Race 3   KEVIN & SHIRLEY FARRIER MOBILE PACE
WHITEBAIT MARG - held up leaving the final bend.

PLAY THE ACE - cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 4   OUTBACK TRADING HANDICAP TROT
SCOOTS - over-raced middle stages. Contacted a track marker near the 200m. Stewards opened and adjourned an investigation into this incident and also the manner in which Driver A Pyers conducted himself when leaving the Stewards room.
TRIPPY TYRON - the boring pole was removed prior to the start due to the mare warming up unfavourably.
BANGKOK BETTY - forced to race wide for a distance passing the 1000m and was again forced to race three wide near the 500m. Weakened final turn.
SO MYSTIFYING - broke entering the first turn losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Over-raced middle stages. Authorisation of this runner's 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 5   CARTOWN MANAWATU CUP HANDICAP PACE
IDOLOU - lay in approaching the 2100m when attempting to hold the leaders back contacting track markers, which enabled LORD DELMAR to shift down to fill that position in the marker line.
