Checked by a breaking runner near the 500m with driver K McClintock being dislodged from the sulky with EVIDENTLY escaping driverless before being caught by the Clerk of the Course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Mr McClintock was attended to by St John paramedics before being transported to hospital for further assessment. Mr McClintock is required to supply a medical clearance prior to resuming driving.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be showing signs of being in season and slight muscle tie up. Stewards will follow up with Mr Yesberg in the coming days. Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards on 19 December DARBY has had its joints treated since last racing.
