When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Stormont reported the mare had worked well leading into the event after having recovered from a viral respiratory infection however had disappointed when asked for an effort. Stewards will follow up with connections in coming days. Stable representative J Stormont advised Stewards on 01 November that blood tests taken from WICKED WANDA have revealed a minor irregularity which has been treated and that the mare would probably trial before resuming.
