REVOLUTION - broke early in the score up however was in position at the start. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend. Driver C DeFilippi was warned for using his whip on a runner out of contention and free of the rein on one occasion in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Mr DeFilippi advised the gelding had raced keenly from the mobile with the effort taking its toll over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Connections advised they will have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results. Co-trainer C DeFilippi advised Stewards on 28 August blood tests taken from REVOLUTION revealed no abnormalities adding the gelding will be continuing with its current preparation. | |||||||||||
