Lay inwards in the early stages of the run home placing driver K Green in some difficulty who reported she did not release the removable deafeners in consequence. Stewards questioned Ms Green regarding the tactics she adopted near the 1800m when restraining the gelding allowing an inside runner to shift out and obtain a run in the one out line. After hearing from Ms Green and viewing the replays Stewards adjourned the matter to give it further consideration. After reviewing the footage and further analysis of driver K Green's (HACKSAW RIDGE) evidence as to her tactics near the 1800m when restraining the gelding allowing an inside runner to obtain a run in the one out line, Stewards concluded that Ms Green's actions at the time were reasonable, given the manner in which the horse had been racing and the circumstances she faced after being unable to secure the lead. Consequently, no further action was taken.
