Race 1   RURAL LIVESTOCK - JEREMY McLEOD & DUCK BRINSDON MOBILE PACE
RAKNRUIN - raced three wide without cover from the 1100m.
MACK PACK - when asked to comment on the improved performance trainer/driver M Williamson advised that the gelding had appreciated a change in training regime and a return to racing on the all weather surface today.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - paced roughly for a distance on the first bend. Held up throughout the run home. Driver S Walkinshaw reported he did not release the removable deafeners in consequence.
EMERALD ABBEY - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1600m. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
VAN LIBERTY - held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages.
HAROLD HANOVER - raced four wide for a distance near the 1200m when RAKNRUIN shifted ground outwards. After viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied that driver C Dalgety (RAKNRUIN) had commenced his movement outwards prior to HAROLD HANOVER reaching the sulky wheel with no further action required.
MIKI'S BEAUTY - held up throughout the run home. Driver B Barclay reported he did not release the removable deafeners in consequence.
Race 2   THANK YOU LAMB DRIVE & CATTLE GRAZIERS MOBILE PACE
SPORTY CHARLIE - observed to have some blood present in its mouth on return to the birdcage enclosure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a superficial abrasion which did not require treatment. Driver B Morris was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
AIRWAVES - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
WARD LAMON - raced wide from the 800m. Hampered near the 100m.
FERNZ GOLDY - held up final bend. Shifted out near the 100m when not clear hampering outside runners. Driver R Close admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $350.
ITSALLABOUTTHEMONEY - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a slow recovery.
BETTER BE WATCHING - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
DARE DEVIL - held up final bend.
MACANDREW MARKUP - late scratching on veterinary advice at 9.15am.
SODOYAHAVTIME - hampered and made contact with the sulky wheel of FERNZ GOLDY near the 100m.

CAPTAIN DASH - broke in the score up losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
TREASURE COVE - driver T Williams reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MIGHTY MIKI - raced three wide from the 600m.
RAKAMICK - raced wide early.
WILD EAST - had difficulty obtaining a clear run in the home straight.
HILLARY - out of position at the start. Driver B McLellan was issued with a warning.
Race 4   CRONIN FAMILY TROT
JORDAN ANNE - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
PANDEMIC - broke at the start losing ground.
PRECIOUS MEMORIES - lay inwards throughout the run home.
TOP POCKET CHANCE - raced wide from the 600m.
FLORENCE THE MACHINE - raced wide early stages.
Race 5   DANNY CRENGLE SHEARING MOBILE PACE
ON THE WING - held up early and middle stages of the run home only obtaining clear racing room near the 50m. Driver B Orange reported he did not release the removable deafeners in consequence.
PROSPERITY - weakened in the run home. When asked to comment on the performance of a favoured runner driver C Ferguson advised the gelding had worked hard early however he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
RAKASANDY - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver P Hunter. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced three wide from the 750m.
RISE UP N DANCE - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MIDNIGHT BABE - raced wide early.
MOUTON CADET - held up leaving final bend.
FIRST LIGHT - broke near the 100m and again over the concluding stages.
DECEPTIVE LEE - driver G Thornley was warned for the manner she shifted ground near the 600m when making contact with the sulky wheel of FIRST LIGHT with the tyre not puncturing.
Race 6   WYNDHAM WORKOUTS / CAMERON CONTRACTING HANDICAP TROT
MAJESTIC LOVE - fractious prior to the start resulting in a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
PRACTICAL MAGIC - trotted roughly in the run home.
ONE TWO MENNY - backed away at the start and then broke losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
ANDY HALL - broke briefly at the start losing ground. When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer L Bond advised that the gelding had received a more economical run and benefitted from a return to a track that suited.
STYRAX - raced wide early.
BRING ON THE MUSCLE - held up early stages of the run home.
JIMMY CARTER - slow in the early stages.
Race 7   MACCA LODGE KINDERGARTEN STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
SONOFAMISTERY - driver T Williams reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
RAKATURBO - hung outwards rounding the first bend.
Following this race the track conditions were upgraded to Good.
Race 8   ALABAR NZ SOUTHERN SUPREMACY STAKES (HEAT 3) MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when BY CHANCE broke in the score up and brushed the mobile arm which in turn caused TRAIN STATION to break hampering second line runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of BY CHANCE. Driver M Hurrell elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
TRAIN STATION - hampered by a breaking runner near the 700m. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slow recovery.
BY CHANCE - trainer C Ferguson was issued with a warning for late notification the gelding would race without the notified blinds.
HERE'S JOHNY - raced inside a track marker near the 300m. Driver P Hunter was issued with a warning.
CAPTAIN AMORE - paced roughly and broke near the 700m hampering trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
CAPTAIN COMMODORE - raced wide early.
FIVE CROWNS - lay inwards early stages of the run home having to be straightened by driver B Orange.
FLASHPOINT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 700m.
Race 9   HUNTER FAMILY HANDICAP PACE
DOUBLE JEOPARDY - held up early stages of the run home.
DENY EVERYTHING - held up throughout the run home. Driver K Green reported she did not release the removable deafeners in consequence.
TABASCO - cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
MIKI KNOWS - fractious prior to the start resulting in a delay. Shifted inwards abruptly as the start was effected and broke hampering a trailing runner which also broke with MIKI KNOWS losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts.
PICCADILLY PETE - hampered by a breaking runner at the start and broke in consequence losing ground.
WAG STAR - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Held up early stages of the run home.
THE BIG LEBOWSKI - late scratching on veterinary advice at 9.15am.
Race 10   WYNDHAM CHAMPAGNE STAKES MOBILE PACE
SEASIDE ROSE - connections advised the mare has had its joints treated since last racing.
INSARCHATWIST - raced wide early.
BEACH DAY - late scratching on veterinary advice at 10.15am.
MR KAPLAN - raced wide early. When asked to comment on the performance driver B Orange advised he was not overly disappointed given the mare had not raced for some time and would derive benefit from todays performance.
RUBY ROE - raced wide from the 700m.
LOUIES GIRL - raced in restricted room late in the run home when runners to the outside shifted ground marginally.
Race 11   LOGAN McLELLAN SHEARING MOBILE PACE
BROOKIES PLAYER - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver M Hill. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
FALCONS WATCH - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
HACKSAW RIDGE - hung inwards and paced roughly rounding the first bend and continued to race greenly for some distance when being restrained. Lay inwards in the early stages of the run home placing driver K Green in some difficulty who reported she did not release the removable deafeners in consequence. Stewards questioned Ms Green regarding the tactics she adopted near the 1800m when restraining the gelding allowing an inside runner to shift out and obtain a run in the one out line. After hearing from Ms Green and viewing the replays Stewards adjourned the matter to give it further consideration.
MR CASH MAN - held up final bend and throughout the run home.
TED - hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Held up throughout the run home. Driver B Barclay reported he did not release the removable deafeners in consequence.
CAPTAIN STARLIGHT - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
STILL ROCKIN - out of position at the start. Driver R Gutsell was issued with a warning.
SECRET AGENT MAN - out of position at the start. Driver N Williamson was issued with a warning.
