IRON BRIGADE - held up final bend and early in the run home. Stewards questioned driver T Williams regarding the driving tactics he adopted and whether there was an opportunity to shift outwards near the 650m prior to being covered by the improving SEASIDE CROFT. Mr Williams explained that as he was following the favoured JOYRIDE(AUS) which appeared to be travelling well, he elected to remain in this position taking into account the distance remaining in the race.
