Race 1   BETAVET BUILDAGUT FOR HINDGUT SUPPORT MOBILE PACE
MONKEE MAJOR - held up final bend.
KOTARE KELSO - the required veterinary clearance was received.
BLACK MACH - when questioned regarding the improved performance, connections advised the gelding had received an economical run in what was a drop in class from recent races.
Race 2   BETAVET REGUMARE HORMONE SUPPORT FILLIES & MARES MOB PACE
JENNARUS - weakened final bend. Trainer T Yesberg advised that consideration would be given to sending the filly for a spell.
PICK IT UP - broke late in the score up and shifted outwards contacting outside runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
HINEMOANA - hampered when an inside runner shifted outwards at the start and was slightly back from position.
MASINDI - fractious in the preliminary and pre-race formation requiring assistance from the Clerk of the Course. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Hampered when an inside runner shifted outwards at the start and was slightly back from position. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m. Broke leaving the final bend losing all chance. A warning was also placed on the racing record of the mare.

JUSTIFICATION - held up early in the run home.
FOREMAN FOX - paced roughly shortly after the start.
SKY NEWS - held up early in the run home.
BEAUTIFUL CRAZY - raced wide early. Raced three wide with cover from the 800m.
CHRISTIAN BALE - broke briefly racing into the first bend. Raced three wide from the 1000m.

ULTIMATE PERFECTION - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

COBA CHARGED - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.

BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - held up final bend.
KD GRINS - held up final bend.
ARADNE - broke near the 2100m losing all chance and was retired from the race.
SWITCH ON - held up final bend.
ISOBEL - raced wide early. Lay in and struck track markers when weakening rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Hope advised the mare had raced too keenly throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery.
Race 8   BETAVET THANKS CLIENTS & INDUSTRY MOBILE PACE
KELTIC TIGER - the left rein came adrift in the preliminary with the gelding being pulled up with assistance from the Clerk of the Course. Trainer K Kelly was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after failing to affix this gear so as not to come adrift. KELTIC TIGER underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
TOUCH N GO - raced wide early.
MAJOR LI - weakened from the 500m hampering trailing runners.
MIGHTY FLYING MIKI - raced wide early.
BLAZE CRAZE - the boring pole was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably.
SPIRIT OF SPITFIRE - weakened final bend.
PENNY WEIGHT - required a change of sulky prior to the start.
DELIGHTFUL DREAMS - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
MAJOR HENRY - weakened final bend.
WAVEWATCHER - hung inwards on the final bend having to be corrected by driver J Cox.
