Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
ARTFUL BROMAC - out of position at the start. Driver W House was issued a warning.
TREASURE COVE - paced roughly in the early stages. Broke after locking wheels with FRANCO LOMU near the 650m losing all chance. Driver T Williams defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly by shifting ground outwards near the 650m causing interference to FRANCO LOMU (B Orange) resulting in both runners locking wheels and losing all chance. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and both drivers, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Williams driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 12 June up to and including 21 June 2026 (3 days).
BETTERWITHBLING - held up leaving the final bend.
DEAL BREAKER - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend. Driver J Dunn advised the gelding had been striking the sulky wheel discs.
FRANCO LOMU - locked wheels with TREASURE COVE which shifted outwards near the 650m losing all chance.
Race 2   LISTEN LIVE ON SPORTNATION.NZ TROT
DANYA - broke at the start losing ground. Driver R Holmes admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 100m when allowing his runner to strike the sulky wheel of SECOND THOUGHTS and break losing all chance. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
IMPERIAL KNIGHT - lay inwards rounding the final bend losing ground.
SHEEP - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer W Roberts advised the gelding had appreciated a change of training environment and had trialled well in preparation for tonight's race. Mr Roberts added he had made alterations to the gelding's shoes and was confident of a forward showing.
JUST FOR TODAY - raced wide early.
SWEET CAROLINE - broke after 150m losing all chance.
CLASSIC SKYE - broke after 100m losing considerable ground.
QUEENSLAND SPIRIT - raced wide from the 900m.
NEIL WILLIAM - held up final bend and early in the run home.
HONEST WAL - broke near the 200m losing all chance.
Race 3   WOODLANDS STUD - ALL STAR FIVE MOBILE PACE
LIVINGTHEKIWIDREAM - raced wide early. Hung inwards rounding the final bend losing ground. Again hung inwards in the run home. Driver J Dunn reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
OURAMERICANGIRL - over-raced in the early stages when wide on the track. Shifted outwards abruptly near the 1550m despite the efforts of driver B Orange after choking down making heavy contact with the outside fence and was retired from the race. Attended to by the on course Veterinarian and transported from the track in the Horse Ambulance. Mr Orange was examined by St John personnel and cleared to fulfil his remaining driving engagements. A post-race veterinary examination of OURAMERICANGIRL revealed a fracture to the nasal bone and swelling in the right shoulder. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to completing two trials to the satisfaction of Stewards before resuming.
LOVING WISH - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Briefly held up near the 100m.
BONJOUR MIKI - held up final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.
OLYMPIAN - lay inwards in the run home.
Race 4   MAJESTIC HORSE FLOATS MOBILE TROT
ARADNE - raced wide from the 850m. Weakened final bend.
BRIANNA - broke at the start losing ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming. Weakened early in the run home.
MAJOR CYCLONE - lay inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early.
MUMSDAWITCH - held up early in the run home.
MAROUBRA - lay inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.

BETTOR GO VINNIE - driver R May admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly after 200m when allowing his runner to strike the sulky wheel of TRUMP CARD resulting in his horse breaking and losing all chance. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
RADHA - out of position at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver M Williamson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Following this race the track was downgraded to Easy.
Race 6   MATT HARRISON CONSTRUCTION HANDICAP TROT
CAPPAHA - broke near the 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
FATHER MIKE - held up over the concluding stages.
TIME FOR VICTORY - paced away at the start having to be restrained losing ground.
PORT PEGASUS - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Lay inwards rounding the final bend striking track markers.
Race 7   TYRE GENERAL SILK ROAD FILLIES & MARES (HEAT 2) MOB PACE
LILAC LUXURY - held up leaving the final bend.
MOLLY MAEVE ESTELLE - raced wide with cover from the 700m.
ULTIMATE SEISATION - held up final bend.
BETTOR THAN LIZZY - held up final bend.
CARRERA TRANQUILO - weakened leaving the final bend.
BLAZING KNUCKLES - raced four wide with cover from the 700m.
CINDERELLA FRANCO - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
ELEKTRA KING - forced to race four wide from the 700m.
SEEKING CLARITY - raced wide from the 700m.
BETTER BE QUICK - connections advised the mare has been treated for a respiratory infection since last racing.
SHOW STOPPER - weakened leaving the final bend.
Following this race the track was downgraded to Slushy and trainers were advised to affix mudguards to their sulkies.

Race 9   BOOK NOW FOR PLUMBERS' NIGHT - 26 JUNE HANDICAP PACE
COBA CHARGED - held up final bend. Driver S Thornley reported he had difficulty steering the gelding throughout and would be recommending gear changes.
MY SKATJIE - held up early in the run home.
SCRUNCH - driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
TEMPO WARRIOR - over-raced middle stages.
JOYRIDE(AUS) - co-trainers C & C Dalgety were issued a warning for failing to have mudguards affixed to their sulky.
COMMANDER BEN - raced wide early.
MYSTERY BEACH - broke at the start losing ground.

DAWN TO DARK - held up final bend.
FRANCO HUMBIE - weakened early in the run home.

When questioned regarding the performance driver O Thornley advised that after working hard in the early stages when unsuccessfully challenging for the lead the gelding had commenced to over-race for a distance through the middle stages with the effort taking its toll.
