Stewards lodged a protest against this runner's 3rd placing under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging TO THE MOON AND BACK had broken in excess of 150m. Connections did not contest the protest and TO THE MOON AND BACK was disqualified by the Stewards. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer B Williamson. | |

ARISTA - shifted ground outwards near the 1700m forcing SHERGAR wider on the track. Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule at this stage of the race, after viewing replays it was established that driver N Williamson had commenced his outwards movement prior to SHERGAR reaching his sulky wheel. Accordingly no further action was necessary. | |

CONQUER ROCK - weakened from the 800m. Driver O Kite reported that the mare had made abnormal breathing noises during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days. | |

JUST LIKE JAGGER - raced wide early. Lay inwards and paced roughly having to be steadied near the 850m when there was a slight easing of the pace. Had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. | |

KYLE LOCH - became awkwardly placed to the inside of MISSILE near the 700m, resulting in the gelding making contact with the sulky wheel of OUR SUPERFUND and breaking in consequence, hampering trailing runners and losing all chance. After hearing from drivers A Kyle and N Williamson (MISSILE) in relation to this incident Stewards adjourned the matter to give it further consideration. | |

After viewing the replays and hearing from Miss Barron no further action was deemed necessary. |
