Race 7 - RICOH BIONIC CHANCE 2YO FILLIES BRACELET (MOBILE PACE)
Stewards concluded their investigation into the reasons IDEAL CROWN paced roughly after being shifted wider by THE QUEENS GAMBIT near the 600m. After hearing from drivers C Dalgety (THE QUEENS GAMBIT) and C Ferguson (IDEAL CROWN) and viewing the footage, both drivers were spoken to advisedly for the manner they drove. Firstly Mr Dalgety for the manner in which he shifted ground initially and secondly, Mr Ferguson for failing to concede his position once he had been shifted wider.

Race 6 - AUTO SELF SERVE WAIMAK JUNCTION & GREYWACKE RD PACE
Connections advised Stewards on 19 May that a further veterinary examination of MICK ALMIGHTY cleared the horse of injury however the gelding was found to have a foot abscess which has since been treated.

When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver B Butt advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. Mr Butt further advised he will have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and notify the results to Stewards.

PYRAMID ROSE - broke after 100m hampering an outside runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
ATLANTIC CITY - hampered by a breaking runner after 100m.

SHARE A DREAM - raced wide early. Paced roughly rounding the final bend when attempting to improve.
RYLAN CHARLIE - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards early in the run home.
KOTARE KELSO - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages. Had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver S Tomlinson advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
ELITE STYX - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 4   MOORE WALKER DAVEY SEARELLS HANDICAP TROT
FATHER TIME - held up for a distance passing the 100m.
PREMIUM PLAYER - weakened final bend.
MOSES - late scratching at 9.50am on Veterinary advice.
TU TANGATA - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance.
A FINE PATRICK - broke briefly after 200m. Broke again passing the 2100m losing all chance.
ZOLTAN BOSCIK - driver L Whittaker was issued a warning for striking the final track marker prior to the passing lane.
GOLD BULLION - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver B Butt advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Mr Butt advised he will have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and notify the results to Stewards.
Race 5   TYRE GENERAL PACE
The start was delayed after TOPAZ required a change of sulky.
MYSTERY BEACH - over-raced middle stages.
LOUIS - broke at the start losing ground.
BAUTISTA - over-raced middle stages. Held up early in the run home.
PERAKI SEELSTER - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
COUNTRY GOLD - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ELEKTRA KING - raced wide early.
Race 6   AVON CITY FORD NZ WELCOME STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
RELAPSED - the blinds were removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably. Weakened final bend.
BUSTER DOUGLAS - weakened final bend. Driver J Dunn advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
FREEZE FRAME - lay outwards and over-raced for a distance passing the 1500m.
RAKERO MAXIMUS - raced wide early. Weakened final bend.

Race 8   HARAS des TROTTEURS HEATHER WILLIAMS MEMORIAL (MOBILE TROT)
YOSEMITE - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
NELLIE DOYLE - lay inwards striking and racing inside track markers rounding the final bend.
JULIE JACCKA - lay inwards and struck track markers rounding the final bend.
EUROSTYLE - raced three wide until reaching the parked position near the 1200m. Driver K Butt advised she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ - pre-race warmed. Weakened from the 650m.
Race 9   WOODLANDS WINNING WEANLINGS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed due to SOPHIA BROMAC requiring a gear adjustment.
TIMES ARE A CHANGIN - late scratching at 4.20pm on Veterinary advice.
GEM N EM - weakened final bend.
MAJOR PERFORMER - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised the mare had not been suited to racing in the parked position.
MUSIC MISTRESS - driver T Williams advised only one removable deafener had activated due to the cord breaking.
DANCING DESIRE - raced wide early.
SOPHIA BROMAC - pre-race warmed. Stewards opened an enquiry into the gear the mare had been presented to race in.
Race 10   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when ROCKINGOOD broke just prior to the start hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver R May elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
ROCKINGOOD - held up final bend.
SHAKE A LEG - over-raced when being restrained near the 1200m and continued to over-race for a distance. Held up final bend.
HUGO - raced wide early. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m. Paced roughly rounding the final bend.
MUNROE'S MATE - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Morrison advised the gelding had become fractious following the false start and having to work hard early had taken its toll.
I'M ROCKIN - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1100m. Weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner.
MAJOR HIPSTER - weakened final bend.
DOCTOR TIM - weakened from the 900m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
