Race 1   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY MOBILE PACE
ROUGH AND READY - weakened early in the run home.
TREACHEROUS BABY - out of position at the start. Driver B Wilkins was issued a warning. Held up final bend. Miss Wilkins will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner she drove when activating gear in the run home.
Race 2   TAB - METRO TROTTERS SERIES HEAT 3 MOBILE TROT
YOUNEVERKNOW - driver T Herlihy advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
TRIFOLIUM - trotted roughly approaching the 400m.
VERY MAJESTIC - over-raced middle stages.
LOOK TO DA STARS - co-trainers M & N Purdon were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the gelding to race with removable deafeners which had not been notified.
KEEP IT KLASSY - lay outwards in the run home crowding an outside runner near the 100m.
SASSY STAR - held up throughout the run home.
CRAZY - pre-race warmed. Raced wide early. Held up for clear racing room throughout the run home and was placed in restricted room near the 100m after an inside runner lay outwards resulting in driver N Chilcott having to steady the gelding.
SANS AU REVOIR - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Raced wide from the 800m. Lay inwards in the run home.
FINAL APPROACH - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 3   TAB - METRO PACERS SERIES HEAT 2 MOBILE PACE
KINGS WATCH - weakened over the concluding stages. Driver T Mitchell was warned for allowing his runner to shift into the passing lane in the run home.
CARRERA HOMBRE - held up final bend.
ROY KENT - held up final bend and for the majority of the run home.
LINCOLN LA MOOSE - over-raced throughout. Weakened over the concluding stages.
HOORAY HENRY - lay inwards late in the run home.
Race 4   REHARVEST HANDICAP TROT
EMILY BAY - weakened rounding the final bend.
JASINOVA - fractious prior to the start requiring assistance from a Starting Attendant causing a delay. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Held up by a weakening runner final bend.
CON GRAZIA LOVE - lay outwards in the run home.
MANCHESTER IN TIME - lay inwards at various stages. Commenced to weaken from the 800m. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Abernethy advised the gelding had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
COURMAYEUR - raced wide from the 800m.
ONE MORE MOMENT - fractious prior to the start causing a further delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
HIGH ENERGY - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
Race 5   WOODLANDS STUD - SILK ROAD NORTHERN PACERS HEAT 1 MOB PACE
SEA OF LOVE - held up final bend and for the majority of the run home.
CLOUDING OVER - held up final bend and early in the run home.
BOOT SCOOTIN BOOGIE - paced roughly final bend and early in the run home when being shifted wider on the track by an inside runner.
Race 6   TAB - METRO TROTTERS SERIES HEAT 4 MOBILE TROT
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - held up final bend.
HIGHER POWER - raced wide early.
VORONOV - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1500m. Weakened early in the run home.
EYRE I WILL - over-raced early when being restrained to the rear of the field. Continued to over-race through the middle stages.
Race 7   WOODLANDS STUD - SILK ROAD NORTHERN PACERS HEAT 2 MOB PACE
MURTLE THE TURTLE - lay inwards at various stages.
WON AND ONLY - briefly crowded by an outside runner racing into the first bend.
COURTNEY ROSE - raced keenly through the middle stages.
PRINCESS OF SAVOY - paced roughly shortly after the start. Lay inwards for a distance passing the 900m.
SWEET MAGGIE MAE - lay inwards racing into the first bend briefly crowding an inside runner. Again lay inwards rounding the final bend.
ULTIMATE RACY GIRL - raced wide early.
Race 8   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS NON-WIN & 1 WIN HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared when SANTAPAZIENZA swung sideways hampering an outside runner just prior to the start being effected. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the horse. Driver R Downey elected to move to the unruly for the restart where the entire will remain for future standing starts.
JOHNNY TROTTER - held up final bend.
SAXON REIGNS - broke at the start losing ground.
CHESINOV - trotted roughly racing into the first bend. Weakened from the 1100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the right hind leg which was treated. Stood down to trial in a competitive manner to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
SUNNY ROBINSON - pre-race warmed. Broke at the start losing ground. Weakened early in the run home.
MARO MACKENDON - pre-race warmed. Over-raced early and middle stages. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had not gained an advantage when starting further down the track than its allocated unruly position when becoming fractious despite the efforts of driver C Hackett.
KENNY HILL - trotted roughly rounding the final bend and in the run home.
Race 9   TAB - METRO PACERS SERIES HEAT 3 MOBILE PACE
SOUTH SIDE STORY - over-raced passing the 1700m.
SECRETS ABOUND - held up early in the run home.
MANTRA - weakened leaving the final bend.
BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE - over-raced middle stages.
NELSON'S BOY - paced roughly near the 1400m. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room until late in the run home.
Race 10   BOOK NOW FOR MID-WINTER CHRISTMAS AT ALEX PARK MOB PACE
ALWAYS B MAGIC - lay inwards near the 1800m striking a track marker.
ALWAYS ASK - over-raced middle stages. Weakened early in the run home.
BETTOR BE A LEGEND - trainer G Rogerson was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the gelding to race with removable deafeners which had not been notified.
TYTATE - over-raced and broke near the 1800m after a slight easing of the pace losing ground. Continued to over-race through the middle stages. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. Driver T Macfarlane was warned for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home.
PRINCESS LISA - lay inwards near the 1800m striking a track marker. The off hind bandage came adrift early in the run home. Co-trainers S & A Telfer were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix this gear so as not to come adrift.
BIG HERB - raced greenly when weakening leaving the final bend and shifted up the track despite the efforts of driver S Abernethy.
BLACKJACK - raced wide early.
