Co-trainer N Purdon advised Stewards on 22 May that blood tests taken from LOOK TO DA STARS following its last start did not detect any irregularities. Mr Purdon added that the horse had been unsuited to racing parked over 2600m at its first start back from a spell however has recovered well since. |

C U THERE - when questioned regarding the performance driver Z Butcher advised the mare was fresh up from a spell and races best when saved for one run so he had been reluctant to improve forward in the middle stages. Mr Butcher added that he had been unable to obtain a trail in the three wide line down the back straight on the final occasion and was obliged to improve very wide on the final bend in an attempt to make ground. Mr Butcher further added that he was pleased with the effort of the mare considering the tempo of the race and expected the horse to derive considerable benefit from the run. |
