Race 3 - AOTEA ELECTRIC MOBILE TROT
Co-trainer N Purdon advised Stewards on 22 May that blood tests taken from LOOK TO DA STARS following its last start did not detect any irregularities. Mr Purdon added that the horse had been unsuited to racing parked over 2600m at its first start back from a spell however has recovered well since.

Race 1   O'CONNOR WARREN INSURANCE MOBILE PACE
CAPTAIN ZENZI - driver D Ferguson was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SHOWTYM GIRL - driver N Chilcott reported that she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
ADJOURNMENT - raced greenly when being forced wider on the track by an inside runner rounding the final bend before weakening.
IM NOT THE MAID - driver N Delany was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
C U THERE - when questioned regarding the performance driver Z Butcher advised the mare was fresh up from a spell and races best when saved for one run so he had been reluctant to improve forward in the middle stages. Mr Butcher added that he had been unable to obtain a trail in the three wide line down the back straight on the final occasion and was obliged to improve very wide on the final bend in an attempt to make ground. Mr Butcher further added that he was pleased with the effort of the mare considering the tempo of the race and expected the horse to derive considerable benefit from the run.
Race 2   GAVELHOUSE.COM MOBILE PACE
IFINDOUBT - briefly placed in restricted room near the 50m after laying outwards in the run home.
MOENUI MISS - had to be steadied approaching the 100m when an inside runner shifted ground outwards.
HEARTS N ACES - held up for clear racing room late in the run home.
KOWALSKI - late scratching at 1.53pm on Veterinary advice.
BIG WHEELS - late scratching at 8.59am on Veterinary advice.
TWEEDY - held up early in the run home. Driver Z Butcher was advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground after briefly placing an outside runner in restricted room approaching the 100m.
DREAMS OF ERIC - paced roughly in the run home.
Race 3   MID-WINTER CHRISTMAS TICKETS ON SALE NOW MOBILE PACE
LINCOLN MAREE - broke in the score up and was out of position at the candy pole. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke near the 800m and shifted outwards hampering trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Weakened final bend.
JOHNNY LINCOLN - co-trainers R Green & N Delany were warned for the late notification of blinds. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m.
NYMBAL - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver Z Butcher. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m. Lay inwards throughout the run home.
EVERNDEN - fractious prior to the start requiring the assistance of a Starting Attendant. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m. Raced greenly late in the run home.
Race 4   WEDNESDAY QUIZ NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE HANDICAP TROT
STASH THE CASH - held up rounding the final bend.
KUMANOVO - broke near the 1800m losing ground. Lay inwards contacting track markers rounding the final bend when held up.
EAGLE HANOVER - briefly held up by a weakening runner near the 400m.
BOSS JO - driver M Ranger was warned for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
KISS MY PIXEL - contacted track markers rounding the final bend. Driver G Martin was issued with a warning.
BAFFLED - raced wide early. Weakened final bend.
Race 5   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND HANDICAP PACE
The start was delayed due to the gear on MINJEE requiring attention.
MEDINA MAGIC - paced roughly shortly after the start having to be steadied.
ALWAYS FLYIN - driver J Stormont admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $500.
MINJEE - driver P Ferguson defended a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing from all parties the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $250.
TWO EYE SEE - lost ground passing the 500m hampering a trailing runner. Junior driver C Hackett (assisted by P Ferguson) defended a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip in a continuous manner rounding the final bend and in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing from all parties the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended Miss Hackett's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 30 May up to and including 6 June 2025 (2 days).
MATAI PHIL - when questioned regarding the performance driver H Orange advised that he attempted to improve his position racing down the back straight on the final occasion however his runner had been hampered passing the 500m when TWO EYE SEE which he had been trailing had lost ground. Mr Orange added he had then been forced to race wide on the final bend and was pleased with the effort.
Race 6   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
I CAN TOO - crowded by an outside runner near the 1600m having to be steadied. Stewards questioned drivers T Cameron (GREAT WHITE) and B Butcher (I CAN TOO) regarding this incident and after viewing the replays and considering their explanations, Mr Cameron was issued with a warning to make a greater effort to ensure he is fully clear when shifting ground. Held up final bend. Driver B Butcher was warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground after crowding an outside runner rounding the final bend.
BENSON DUDE - lay outwards when leading passing the 1100m and shifted up the track.
SHIRLEY BASSEY - over-raced middle stages. Weakened early in the run home.
SAVARNA - lay inwards racing into the first bend when wide on the track before being restrained to the rear of the field. Weakened rounding the final bend before being crowded by an inside runner.
JACCKA OPA - driver K Coppins was warned for allowing her runner to come to the mobile barrier out of position in the early stages of the score up before being corrected. Over-raced middle stages.
GREAT WHITE - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
Race 7   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY HANDICAP TROT
PATRICK MAHOMES - held up by a weakening runner for a distance passing the 600m.
BARSUKOV - weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner.
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - held up final bend.
MAJESTIC BUNDY - broke at the start losing all chance. The near-side number detached during the running.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - trotted roughly when weakening final bend before breaking near the 250m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
ULTIMATE MOMENT - weakened leaving the final bend.
Race 8   FRIDAY STEAK NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE MOBILE PACE
MR WONDERFUL - paced roughly racing into the first bend when crowded by an outside runner. Over-raced when held up rounding the final bend and early in the run home causing driver M Northcott difficulty.
ONETANGI GIRL - over-raced middle stages.
BET WEST - held up late in the run home
LUKAKU - raced wide early. Driver J Darby was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
MARIA KIRILENKO - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
MIDFREW LUCRE - hung inwards racing into the first bend placing an inside runner in restricted room.
LEWEY MAGUIRE - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver F Phelan advised the gelding was racing down in grade from recent starts and was able to dictate terms in front after beginning quickly from a wide draw.
