A post-race veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed a laceration to the left fore which required treatment. | |

| BEAUDIENE HUNTER - Driver J Dickie was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for contacting a track marker leaving the final turn. | |
| CALORIEFREE - Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1750m when this runner appeared to force TIGHT LINES to race wider on the track, however after the viewing replays it was established that Driver T Macfarlane (CALORIEFREE) had commenced his outwards movement prior to TIGHT LINES (T Herlihy) reaching his sulky wheel and simultaneously raced greenly causing Mr Macfarlane some difficulty. Stewards elected not to take the matter any further other than to place a warning on the gelding's racing manners. Paced roughly rounding the final turn and lay inwards when being shifted wider on the track early in the run home. Again paced roughly throughout the run home. | |

| MIKE ROSS - Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule entering the first turn when MIKE ROSS raced wider on the track after CHANGE TACT shifted out from the marker line. After viewing the replays it was established that Driver T Herlihy (CHANGE TACT) had commenced his outward movement prior to MIKE ROSS (P Ferguson) reaching his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary. When questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher advised that the mare had travelled well in the running however was disappointed with the effort over the closing stages. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days. | |
