Race 5 - BORDER FENCING SERVICES HANDICAP TROT
Co-Trainer R Dunn advised Stewards on 15 May that blood test taken from BOUNCE N BEYOND had come back clear with the gelding having worked and trialed well since.
Cambridge Harness - Tuesday, 6th May 2025
Race 1 - DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
Co-Trainer S Phelan advised Stewards on 14 May that blood tests taken from TREACHEROUS LOVE had detected muscle tie up which has since been treated with the mare continuing with her preparation.
Race 5 - OFF THE TRACK FOOD & BEV MOBILE PACE
Co-Trainer S Phelan advised Stewards on 14 May that blood tests taken from WON AND ONLY had come back clear with the filly continuing her preparation.

Race 1   MID WINTER CHRISTMAS AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOB PACE
RAGNAR LOTHBROK - held up by a weakening runner leaving the final turn.
RED RACKHAM - weakened leaving the final turn.
Race 2   GAVELHOUSE.COM MOBILE TROT
COOL PHELAN - briefly placed in restricted room entering the first turn. Weakened final turn.
PARAMOUNT LADY - over-raced middle stages when leading.
SASSY STAR - Junior Driver T Hanara (assisted by S McCaffrey) was shown the replay and warned for the manner in which she drove entering the first turn when shifting ground inwards briefly placing inside runners in restricted room.
TWO FRANCS - raced wide early.
SAXON REIGNS - over-raced when wide early before being restrained to the rear.
KEEP IT KLASSY - lay in approaching the 250m placing an inside runner in restricted room.
LIGHT O LOVE - placed in restricted room by an outside runner near the 250m and contacted a track marker. Weakened in the run home.
REWIRI HILL - weakened in the run home.
SHESGOLD - briefly placed in restricted room entering the first turn. Raced wide early.
Race 3   WAIKATO THOROUGHBRED RACING MOBILE PACE
VALEREI - paced roughly shortly after the start having to be steadied. Held up briefly passing the 50m.
RHINESTONE - sustained a punctured sulky tyre entering the first turn when contacted by a trailing runner.
AQUILA - Trainer Z Meredith was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the mare to race without the notified removable deafeners. Driver J Stormont was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
MOENUI MISS - Junior Driver L Hibell (assisted by S Dickson) admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly entering the first turn when striking and puncturing the sulky wheel of RHINESTONE. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee issued a fine of $200.
Race 4   BETAVET BUILDAGUT HANDICAP TROT
TRIPPY TYRON - broke at the start but soon settled.
ULTIMATE MOMENT - over-raced middle stages. Contacted track markers approaching the 250m when in restricted room to the inside of a weakening runner.
MAZEPPA - Driver C Hackett reported that she had not activated the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
DEL SHANNON - weakened leaving the final turn.
RUBY RIDGE - Driver P Ferguson reported that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking.
Race 5   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
ONETANGI GIRL - weakened in the run home.
JACCKA OPA - over-raced when being restrained to take a trail passing the 1400m.
BOOT SCOOTIN BOOGIE - over-raced early and middle stages before being taken up the track and retired from the event near the 1200m. When questioned Driver J Dickie advised that he felt that this runner had commenced to choke down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
Race 6   DUNSTAN HORSEFEED NORTHERN REGION PACERS FINAL HCP PACE
MEDINA MAGIC - weakened leaving the final turn.
MATAI PHIL - broke shortly after the start but soon settled.
TWO EYE SEE - late scratching at 9.00am on Veterinary advice.
HERB - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
THE SURFER - lay inwards near the 100m but was corrected by Driver D Butcher.
LITTLE SPIKE - raced four wide from the 500m.
COS I CAN - broke briefly at the start. Paced roughly from the 700m and was not persevered with thereafter. When questioned the on-course Veterinarian S Christopher advised that this runner had not required the use of the Horse Ambulance to leave the track, however the gelding had become progressively worse in its action on returning to the stabling area. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a suspected tendon injury to the near fore. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance. After speaking with Trainer S Butcher Stewards issued a warning to Driver M Ranger to make a greater effort to retire her runner from the race given similar circumstances in the future.
Race 7   FRIDAY STEAK NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE MOB PACE
CAULFIELD - when questioned regarding the performance Driver D Butcher advised that he was disappointed with the effort in what was the gelding's first start back from a spell following on from a moderate trial leading into the event. Mr Butcher further advised that CAULFIELD probably won't resume for several weeks.
SKYS LEGACY - locked wheels with an outside runner rounding the first turn and broke losing ground. Checked when locking wheels with an inside runner near the 500m losing all chance.
COLIN MCBRIDE - raced wide early and locked wheels with an inside runner rounding the first turn losing ground. Paced roughly near the 1100m when crossing to the lead.
MURTLE THE TURTLE - lay out marginally and locked wheels with an outside runner near the 500m losing all chance.
Race 8   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY TROT
KISS MY PIXEL - lay in rounding the first turn contacting several track markers. Weakened rounding the final turn.
EMILY BAY - broke at the start losing ground.
SUNNY ROBINSON - broke at the start losing all chance.
BAFFLED - contacted track markers near the 1250m when in restricted room.
