Race 1   ASHBURTON TROTTING CLUB MEMBERS MOBILE PACE
KUSHITE WARRIOR - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver G Thornley advised the filly had travelled well in the running however may have peaked on its run and wasn't disappointed with the effort.
ELITE STYX - held up rounding the final bend and early in the run home.
TACT TEENA - driver S Ottley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MUSIC MISTRESS - raced wide early. Lay inwards early in the run home having to be corrected by driver T Williams.
Race 2   PREMIUM PEAS TROT
TROUBLE PAT - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened rounding the final bend.
SUPERFAST LADY - lay outwards for a distance passing the 800m losing ground. Weakened leaving the final bend.
CALMBEFORETHESTORM - slow in the early stages losing considerable ground. Broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
BULLET - slow in the early stages losing considerable ground. Lay inwards at various stages throughout causing driver J Versteeg some difficulty. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver J Versteeg advised the gelding had trotted roughly on occasions and in particular in the early stages and he would be making alterations to the horse's shoeing prior to its next start.
Race 3   LYSAGHT HORSE COACHES MOBILE PACE
CRACKLE N CRUNCH - lay outwards leaving the final bend.
FRANCO EZRA - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Driver T Williams advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
WILYABRUP - weakened final bend.
BEAUDIENE ALWAYS B - raced wide early.
TUPPENCE - over-raced middle stages.
KAIRAKI VEGAS - raced wide without cover from the 700m.
SCOTLYNN CRUNCH - lay inwards leaving the final bend.
DANCING N HEAVEN - held up leaving the final bend.
Race 4   HOTEL ASHBURTON HANDLE CLUB PACE
BETTOR FEAR ME - broke shortly after the start and shifted outwards hampering an outside runner losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Driver G O'Reilly advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
MELTON MOGUL - lay outwards rounding the final bend. Weakened in the run home.
BANKSY - lay inwards when progressing to the lead near the 1500m. Lay inwards and briefly locked wheels with WAIKAKA which lay outwards simultaneously late in the run home.
CRUSHEM GIRL - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered shortly after the start by a breaking runner.
WAIKAKA - lay outwards and briefly locked wheels with BANKSY which lay inwards simultaneously late in the run home.
SWIFT GUY - fractious prior to the start.

There was a one minute delay to the start due to a communications issue.
DEM BONES DEM BONES - began awkwardly.
MM SUNSHINE - driver R Holmes was warned for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home.
LOVE WALKED IN - lay inwards on several occasions throughout the running.
JASPRIT TROUBLE - trotted roughly when weakening in the run home.

MELTON MAGNATE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
DR GACHET - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Lay outwards in the run home.
OCEAN OF TEARS - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
Race 7   McINTOSH CATERING MOBILE PACE
FLYING FOR ME - broke late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened in the run home.
STEPHS BOY - lay inwards throughout the run home. Driver H Orange was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
EVIDENTLY - late scratching at 10.34am on Veterinary advice.
Race 8   WE'VE GOT THE TROTS SYNDICATE MOBILE PACE
MOTOR MOUTH - weakened final bend.
STAR MAGIC - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the gelding had lay outwards at various stages during the running and had failed to respond when placed under pressure.
Race 9   GARY McCORMICK TRANSPORT TROT
DRAGONHILL - paced away at the start having to be broken up by driver W House losing all chance.
SPANISH PRINCESS - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend.
BODACIOUS - trotted roughly in the run home having to be steadied by driver O Thornley.
LINDY'S ROCKET - lay inwards and trotted roughly through the middle stages.
TESSAMAE - raced wide early and middle stages.
VERY MAJESTIC - raced wide early.
MIDNIGHT DIAMOND - raced wide early. Broke near the 300m losing its chance.

GIRLSHAVTIME - held up early in the run home.
TO RI RUBY - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer S Adlam advised he was not surprised with the result after the mare had been working well after being freshened and having a change of gear since its last start.
MELANDO CHIEF - held up early in the run home. Broke near the 150m and shifted outwards losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
PATIRO - raced wide early. Held up early in the run home. Weakened over the concluding stages.
ZIA BROMAC - late scratching at 12.58pm on Veterinary advice.
ALMIGHTY CLEVER - raced wide early.
HEY TONIGHT - raced wide early.
NORMIE STEAD - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
