YUROK - weakened from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination including an endoscopic procedure revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.
CRACKERJACK - weakened leaving the final bend.
VORONOV - forced to race four wide from the 950m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
CASTANA - raced wide from the 1100m.
EYRE I WILL - raced wide early. Lay outwards rounding the final bend and throughout the run home.

TU TANGATA - Driver P Nairn reported that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
Race 2   TAB - METRO PACERS SERIES (HEAT 1) MOBILE PACE
LUKAKU - hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
SECRETS ABOUND - paced roughly rounding the final bend losing ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
YOU LITTLE BEAUTY - raced roughly for a short distance after being forced to race wide near the 600m.
ALWAYS BE MATTIE - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
Race 3   IRT 2YO YOUNG GUNS FINAL MOBILE TROT
DUCHESS MARIA - Driver N Williamson advised that he didn't activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MISS KAWAII - broke entering the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners.
BOBBY - broke in the score up losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.

Race 4   MAGNESS BENROW - CELEBRATING 80 YEARS IN BUSINESS MOB PACE
PRINCESS LISA - Co-Trainers S & A Telfer were warned for presenting the filly to race without the notified blinds. Weakened in the run home.
AUNTY ROSE - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear. Checked by a breaking runner near the 400m. Weakened in the run home.
LOOKIN SNAZZY - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear. Checked by a breaking runner near the 400m.
BEACHBREAK - checked by a breaking runner near the 400m. Held up early stages of the run home.
CRUMSY - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards contacting track markers near the 900m. Paced roughly and broke near the 400m checking trailing runners and was retired from the event. The gelding was promptly attended to and treated by the on-course veterinarian before being transported by Horse Ambulance to a local equine clinic with a suspected fracture to the left fore pastern. Following a thorough assessment at the clinic, the fracture was confirmed, and the gelding was humanely euthanised.
BLACKJACK - checked by a breaking runner near the 400m. Lay inwards and contacted track markers leaving the final bend.
Race 5   IRT NZ SIRES STAKES 3YO TROTTERS CHAMPIONSHIP MOB TROT
The start of the race was delayed by approximately 10 minutes as the field did not proceed onto the track until the Horse Ambulance had departed the course. An additional delay occurred due to gear on YOUNEVERKNOW requiring attention.
HIGHER POWER - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
TYRONS STRAPPING LAD - checked by a breaking runner near the 500m.
OCEAN EYES - checked by a breaking runner near the 500m.
YOUNEVERKNOW - raced wide from the 600m.
HABIBTI PAT - raced wide early. Broke near the 500m checking outside and trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners.
FRAZZLED - the off side boring pole became detached from the saddle during the running. Co-Trainers R & J Dunn were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. Checked by a breaking runner near the 500m.
WATERLOO STATION - raced wide early and middle stages before crossing to the parked position near the 1150m. Checked by a breaking runner near the 500m. Weakened in the run home.
YA RITE DARL - checked by a breaking runner near the 500m.
MEANT TO BE - raced wide early and middle stages.
Race 6   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS N.I. MARES CHAMPIONSHIP HCP TROT
The start was delayed approximately 5 minutes due to JASINOVA requiring a sulky change after a tyre deflated.
SHESGOLD - held up early stages of the run home.
JASINOVA - shifted outwards rounding the final bend when the driver was activating the removable deafeners. Driver L Chin admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly rounding the final bend. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Dr Chin's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including the 16 May 2025 (2 days).
CON GRAZIA LOVE - placed in restricted room by an outside runner near the 250m. Weakened in the run home.
KD ROYALTY - held up early final bend.
FAITH IN MANCHESTER - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver T Mitchell advised the mare may not of backed up from last week's performance with connections considering whether to continue with the mare's current preparation.
HIGH ENERGY - lay inwards near the 250m placing an inside runner in restricted room. When questioned regarding the performance, Driver Z Butcher advised that he was forced to make an earlier move than intended due to the horse in the parked position weakening, and as a result, his runner was unable to finish the race off strongly. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
COURMAYEUR - broke when being steadied approaching the 1800m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
Race 7   MAGNESS BENROW NZ SIRES STAKES 3YO FILLIES FINAL MOBILE
TOSANA - weakened final bend.
GENERAL JEN - pre-race warmed. Over-raced middle stages.
BESIDE ME - over-raced early stages. Again over-raced for a distance passing the 1600m after being unable to obtain the lead and again for a distance leaving the 900m.
WINELIGHT - when questioned regarding his decision to take a trail near the 1200m after initially holding the lead, Driver M White advised that, while he was keen to maintain the lead due to the filly's strong performance at her previous start, he was mindful of the work she had been required to do after leading from the wide barrier and being challenged by BESIDE ME down the back straight on the first occasion. Consequently, when he eased the tempo, he felt it was in the filly's best interests to take a trail when GENERAL JEN improved forward near the 1200m, rather than urging his runner forward again. Stewards noted Mr White's comments.
CAPTAINS MISTRESS - Driver N Williamson was warned for crossing his reins late in the run home to perform a celebratory gesture.
ARAFURA - raced wide from the 600m.
BEETASTIC - weakened in the run home.
Race 8   TAB-METRO TROTTERS SERIES (HEAT 2) MOBILE TROT
HIGH NOON - broke as the start was effected then settled and broke again on several occasions shortly after losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Held up early stages of the run home.
SASSY STAR - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
TRIFOLIUM - pre-race warmed.
CRAZY - pre-race warmed.
ARADNE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
WHATS UP THE HILL - broke near the 400m hampering trailing runners losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
HILLBILLY - raced wide early before obtaining a position in the running line towards the rear. When questioned regarding the performance Driver E Johnson advised that she got too far back after restraining from a wide barrier and then had difficulty improving wide rounding the final bend.
VAL THORENS - weakened over the concluding stages. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
