GEM N EM - broke at the start losing ground. Held up early in the run home.
ARIZONAWILDCAT - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened leaving the final bend.
DAWN TO DARK - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver J Cox advised he was not surprised with the effort considering the gelding had raced well at its last start and had received an economical run throughout after beginning well at its first standing start.
MAJOR TORQUE - briefly paced roughly rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Hill advised he was not disappointed with the effort after racing in the parked position for the majority of the race.

TOBY TOM B - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver S Thornley advised the gelding had over-raced at its previous start and had benefited from an economical run and a change of gear with the addition of sliding blinds.
C C ARDEN - over-raced passing the 1300m when being restrained to obtain cover.
ACTION MAJOR - raced wide early and middle stages.
SWEET RAINE - raced wide early and middle stages.
HUGO - lay inwards and briefly locked wheels with COMMANDER JOE passing the 300m.
MOLLY BELWIN - raced wide early.
COMMANDER JOE - briefly locked wheels with HUGO which lay inwards passing the 300m.
Race 3   THE TYRE GENERAL TROT
ASPIRATIONAL DREAM - broke at the start losing ground. Lay inwards and struck a track marker when held up leaving the final bend.
MUSCLYNN - weakened final bend.
LOVEYOU TO DA SKYE - broke at the start losing all chance.
RANDEL HUSTON P - broke near the 1100m losing all chance.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD 'ALL STAR FIVE' HANDICAP PACE
The start was delayed after BOUDICA breasted the barrier strand with all runners being turned out of line.
The start was further delayed when BRYCE'S MEDDLE turned an extra circle. Driver M Lewis was issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice.
BOUDICA - junior driver S Thornley, who declined assistance from a senior driver, defended a breach of Rule 858(1)(a) alleging he caused a delay to the start by allowing the mare to make contact with the barrier strand. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Thornley the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $200.
SHEPHERDS DELIGHT - over-raced middle stages.
DOUBLE JEOPARDY - broke at the start losing ground.
HOMEBUSH LAD - junior driver H Sail (assisted by K Butt) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip in a continuous manner rounding the final bend and in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Sail's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 18 May 2025 (3 days).
WOODBINE ROCKS - driver L O'Reilly was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Race 5   BETAVET TROT
EDWARD LONGSHANKS - began awkwardly.
NUBLIAH CHAMAY - lay outwards in the run home and shifted up the track. Driver M Williamson was issued a warning to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
BULLIT TRAIN - trotted roughly in the run home.
PADDY MCDADDY - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
Race 6   CONTINENTAL EVENT HIRE SUPERSTARS CHAMPIONSHIP (MOB PACE)
BEACH BALL - cast a shoe shortly after the start.
HARRISON JOHN - over-raced middle stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Ottley advised she was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed inflammation in the airway. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
WHO'S DELIGHT - hampered in the run home when PINSEEKER shifted up the track.
RAKERO ROCKET - shifted outwards rounding the first bend briefly locking wheels with PINSEEKER. Had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
PINSEEKER - briefly locked wheels with RAKERO ROCKET rounding the first bend. Shifted outwards in the run home hampering WHO'S DELIGHT. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until driver T Williams (WHO'S DELIGHT) placed 4th, confirmed his chances had not been affected and he did not wish to proceed with a protest. Driver J Cox defended a breach of Rule 869(4) and the Home Straight Regulations alleging he failed to maintain a straight course in the run home and hampered WHO'S DELIGHT. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Cox the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Cox's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 11 May up to and including 22 May 2025 (4 days).
DOUBLE TIME - weakened leaving the final bend.
VESSEM - junior driver O Thornley, who declined assistance from a senior driver, defended a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations alleging she used her whip in a continuous manner in the early stages. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Miss Thornley the charge was found proved and the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Thornley's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 14 May up to and including 1 June 2025 (6 days) and imposed a fine of $200.
Race 7   LAMB & HAYWARD HANDICAP TROT
PREMIUM PLAYER - over-raced middle stages.
MASTER CLASS - driver K Butt admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip in a continuous manner in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
CORMORAN STRIKE - broke at the start losing all chance.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - trotted roughly in the early stages losing ground.
PRACTICAL MAGIC - broke near the 400m losing all chance.
Race 8   GARRARDS SIRES' STAKES SERIES 3YO C&G SEMI-FINAL (MOB PACE)
FIVE CROWNS - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Butt advised the gelding had over-raced with the effort taking its toll.
AMERICAN BLAZE - raced wide early. Over-raced rounding the first bend.
CAPTAIN COMMODORE - the required veterinary clearance was received.
DEADLINE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
STRIKEM - over-raced middle stages.
RENALDO - over-raced middle stages. Held up early in the run home.
Race 9   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
I'M ROCKIN - held up final bend and early in the run home.
SIDESHOW BRUCE - hung inwards and broke rounding the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
HADRON COLLIDER - late scratching at 9.29am on Veterinary advice.
