| Following the race, Stewards spoke with all drivers regarding the track conditions, which had deteriorated due to continued heavy rainfall, resulting in surface flooding around the entrance to the passing lane and rutting on the bends. While the meeting was initially delayed by one race, a subsequent track inspection conducted by the Stewards in conjunction with senior drivers and in consultation with club officials led to the decision to abandon the meeting due to safety concerns. | |
