TERROR MA SUE - held up early in the run home. Placed in restricted room passing the 100m.
KALATRA - hung inwards and attempted to buck late in the score up and was out of position at the candy pole. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
SWEET DREAMS - held up final bend and early in the run home. Driver R Close admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
SHE'S A JEWEL - lay inwards near the 100m placing inside runners in restricted room.
STUNNA - lay inwards losing ground rounding the final bend.
SUPER FUND - over-raced when racing wide early. Held up final bend. Placed in restricted room passing the 100m.

ESTER LUCY - driver R Houghton was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion leaving the final bend.
HOO HAA - paced roughly early stages.
LILY'S A STAR - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer J McDermott advised the mare had broken from a stand at its last start after being unlucky at the start prior and had benefited from improved manners and a mobile start tonight.
OKIWI BAY - over-raced early stages. Lay inwards at various stages throughout. Held up early in the run home.
AMBLESIDE DRIVE - lay outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Paced roughly early stages.

There was a delay to the start after driver J Dunn (WAIHEMO HANNAH) became unwell in the preliminary and was replaced by T Williams.
DIEDRE FRANCO - slow to begin. Lay inwards rounding the first bend losing ground. Broke briefly in the run home. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the run home.
THE BLOSS - driver B Borcoskie was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
BIG AL - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened leaving the final bend.
CAPPAHA - trotted roughly in the run home.
LAVRA SEGIL - weakened leaving the final bend.

GLADYS GREENLAND - when questioned regarding the performance trainer S Reid advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation.
JUST ASK PADDY - raced wide with cover from the 900m.
TIMBIMBOO - paced roughly rounding the final bend when held up. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room middle stages of the run home.
DESTINY DANCE - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards at various stages during the running.
PLAYING WITH STARS - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Hill advised that despite working hard early he was still slightly disappointed with the effort.
DON JUAN - raced wide early and middle stages.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
JACK TAR - raced wide from the 1000m.
PURE COURAGE - held up leaving the final bend.

When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver A Russell advised he elected not to shift wider on the track near the 1400m as he felt the horse races best with cover and was of the opinion it would have been detrimental to his horse's chances to race in the parked position.
VISCOUNT BANNER - held up early in the run home.
DREAM BOYZ - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
MELTON ENFORCER - raced wide early.
GIMMESOMELOVIN - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer/driver K Cameron advised the gelding was racing down in class from recent starts and had received an economical run throughout.
