YOUNEVERKNOW - required assistance from an Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Begun awkwardly.
VAL THORENS - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
FINAL APPROACH - broke near the 800m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
WHATS UP THE HILL - broke rounding the first bend losing ground before settling. Switched to a pace near the 1100m losing all chance.
PARADISE ALI - hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m. Broke near the 300 losing all chance.
HIGH NOON - Driver P Nairn was warned for driving with his foot out of the sulky footrest for a distance early stages. Mr Nairn was also warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.

WORDS - over-raced middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
JOES ROCK - back from position at dispatch. Driver C Hackett was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. Lay inwards racing into the first bend.
YOU LITTLE BEAUTY - back from position at dispatch. Driver D Butcher was issued a warning.
Race 3   IRT YOUNG GUNS 2YO TROTTERS SERIES HEAT 2 MOBILE TROT
BOBBY - broke late in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners.
YEAH NAH - broke early in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
REDPARK WARRIOR - Driver B Orange reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 4   GREG SUGARS - FOND MEMORIES FROM 2024 - R.I.P. - MOBILE PACE
BILLY THE KID - lay inwards contacting a track marker rounding the final bend.
MIKE ROSS - lay inwards entering the first bend simultaneously to DEAR GOD laying outwards with both runners having to be steadied and corrected by their drivers. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m.
DOUBLE PARKED - required assistance from an Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m. Lay inwards rounding the final bend. Driver T Cameron was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
THE BETTOR DEAL - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened from the 800m hampering trailing runners and was retired from the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the performance Co-Trainer N Purdon was at a loss to explain the disappointing performance and will have bloods taken in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the results.
MCKENDRICK - raced lethargically over the early stages before being retired from the event near the 1500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
THE BETTOR DEAL - connections advised on 7 May that the blood tests conducted on the gelding had returned clear, and it is their intention to proceed with the current preparation.
Race 5   BORDER FENCING SERVICES HANDICAP TROT
MAZEPPA - begun awkwardly. Broke approaching the 1750m losing all chance.
JASINOVA - broke at the start checking a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
TAYLAD TO USE - lay inwards and raced over track markers final bend. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had not gained an advantage in this incident.
WATERLOO STATION - broke at the start losing all chance.
LIAISON - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke near the 450m losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
AMERICAN MUSCLE - checked by a breaking runner shortly after the start losing ground.
BOUNCE N BEYOND - when questioned regarding the performance Co-Trainer R Dunn advised that he was disappointed and he will have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days. Stewards will follow up with the results.
Race 6   BRECKON FARMS YOUNG GUNS CARDIGAN BAY STAKES 2YO MOB PACE
RATTLE MY CAGE - placed in restricted room final bend when weakening and raced over several track markers.
ALLAMERICANPLAYER - held up rounding the final bend.
LOOKIN SNAZZY - placed in restricted room rounding final bend when an outside runner lay inwards.
ANDRETTI(AUS) - lay outwards when the start was effected having to be steadied. Lay inwards rounding the final bend placing LOOKIN SNAZZY and RATTLE MY CAGE in restricted room despite the driver's efforts.
Race 7   WHAT THE HILL @ WOODLANDS NORTHERN TROTTING OAKS MOB TROT
CYCLONE SALA - weakened from the 1000m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
LUBY'S LUCK - broke near the 800m losing all chance.
OCEAN EYES - weakened in the run home.
QUEEN KIZEN - lay inwards contacting a track marker near the 1300m. Weakened in the run home.
HABIBTI PAT - pre-race warmed. Raced wide early. Lay outwards in the run home.
SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ - pre-race warmed. Weakened in the run home.
Race 8   GALLAGHER INSURANCE DELIGHTFUL LADY CLASSIC YG 2YOF MOB PACE
WAR CRY - raced wide without cover from the 750m. Raced greenly final bend. Weakened in the run home.
RIPPLES - lay inwards early and middle stages of the run home having to be corrected.
Race 9   ROY PURDON MEMORIAL HANDICAP PACE
WE WALK BY FAITH - begun awkwardly. Held up near the 150m and shifted outwards placing JOLIMONT in restricted room which had to be steadied and with CHASE A DREAM also being hampered. Hampered near 50m when an inside runner lay outwards and held up thereafter. Driver M White wished to view the films in relation to a possible protest being lodged against the 2nd placed (SOONER THE BETTOR) on the grounds of interference in the run home. After viewing the films Mr White declined the opportunity to protest and placings were duly authorised. Driver M White admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly near the 150m when shifting ground outwards. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr White's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 10 May up to and including 23 May 2025 (4 days).
SOONER THE BETTOR - Driver S Phelan admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Phelan's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 10 May up to and including the 5 June 2025 (7 days) and imposed a fine of $200.

CHASE A DREAM - pre-race warmed. Broke briefly at the start losing ground.
Race 10   REHARVEST ROWE CUP FFA TROT
MIGHTY LOGAN - broke for several strides near the 750m. Lay inwards rounding the final bend and when Driver J Dunn was taking corrective action then shifted outwards. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Dunn advised the gelding had raced too keenly which had taken its toll over the concluding stages.
TU TANGATA - lay inwards contacting a track marker near the 900m.
ONE OVER ALL - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Over-raced middle stages. Raced wide from the 1200m. When weakening lay inwards contacting track markers rounding the final bend.
FAITH IN MANCHESTER - weakened final bend.
MIDNIGHT DASH - fractious prior to the start. Placed in restricted room entering the first bend when QUEEN ELIDA lay inwards having to be steadied contacting a track marker.
NOT AS PROMISED - begun awkwardly. Raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Lay outwards approaching the 600m presenting an inside run to a trailing runner.
OSCAR BONAVENA - pre-raced warmed. Broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the horse's barrier manners.
