Race 8 - H R FISKEN & SONS ANZAC CUP HANDICAP TROT
Trainer G Dwyer advised Stewards on 30 April that NOT AS PROMISED has recovered well following its disappointing performance, which he could only attribute to the gelding trotting roughly on several occasions, and has worked well since.
Race 9 - DAWSON HARFORD NZ MESSENGER MOBILE PACE
Co-Trainer M Purdon advised Stewards on 30 April that CHASE A DREAM has recovered well following its disappointing run and has worked well since. Mr Purdon also advised that the gelding has undergone a further veterinary examination which failed to detect any abnormality.

Race 1   ANDREW & LYN NEAL STABLES MOBILE PACE
Trainer M House was warned for both NICKEL AND DIME and SHEZABETTORGIRL being late on to the track.
Starter G Phillips was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly regarding the speed of the mobile throughout the score up.
THE NIGHT FOX - broke for several strides entering the first turn.
NICKEL AND DIME - Driver H Orange was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly regarding the manner he drove early in the run home when shifting his runner down into the passing lane.
RUN MASON RUN - Driver S Abernethy was reminded of his obligation to drive his runner out fully to the finish line where circumstances permit.
NAROBI - over-raced through the middle stages.
SHEZABETTORGIRL - broke late in the score up but soon settled, then continued to pace roughly over the early stages. Commenced to weaken near the 600m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver W House advised that SHEZABETTORGIRL had kicked out late in the score up and then continued to go to kick when being taken hold of on various occasions over the early stages so he elected to improve around to race without cover near the 1500m in the hope that the filly would settle. A warning was placed on this runner's racing manners. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality.
DIXIELAND DELIGHT - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear. Broke near the 1750m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
DREAM ON LOU - lay in near the 250m contacting a track marker.
CAPTAINS SECRET - broke briefly near the 1600m.
CALL SECURITY - raced wide early.
Race 2   DOUG BRADLEY PAINTERS HANDICAP TROT
HEAVENLY BELLE - broke entering the first turn losing ground. Broke again near the 2000m losing further ground. Broke on another occasion near the 1800m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
KENNY HILL - lay in at various stages during the running and in particular near the 250m contacting a track marker.
RUN FOREST RUN - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground and trailed the field throughout.
KISS MY PIXEL - weakened from the 700m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality.
Race 3   SMALE LOGISTICS MOBILE PACE
DELIGHTFUL CHIC - held up briefly leaving the back straight the final time.
ONYX SHARD - weakened final turn.
HA'PENNY - weakened leaving the final turn. Driver J Abernethy reported a sulky tyre had deflated near the 1250m.
LEWEY MAGUIRE - raced wide early and middle stages before crossing to the parked position near the 1750m. Lay in leaving the back straight the final time and then shifted down inside the marker line after the off side rein became detached and took no further serious part. It was established that a pricker on the rein had shifted forward after being forced back against the saddle terret when the gelding had lay in resulting in the rein coming unfastened, with no further action deemed necessary other than to note the circumstances.
FOLLOW ME FANTASY - raced wide early. Weakened leaving the final turn.
KEVIN KLINE - over-raced middle stages.
PROVISEUR - pulled hard score up. Over-raced middle stages.
Race 4   D & M WEBB MOBILE PACE
FRANKIE - commenced to weaken near the 700m and sustained a punctured sulky tyre when contacted by the trailing COLIN MCBRIDE near the 600m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality.
THE ELITE ATHLETE - raced wide early.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - weakened leaving the final turn.
HIT THE LIGHTS - raced wide early and middle stages.
COLIN MCBRIDE - Driver C Hackett advised stewards the gelding had commenced to over-race entering the back straight. Not withstanding that C Hackett was spoken to advisedly in relation to the manner in which she shifted ground near the 600m.
Race 5   HERB STENT MEMORIAL HANDICAP PACE
MEDINA MAGIC - held up by a weakening runner rounding the final turn.
LEO LINCOLN - shifted up the track in the run home despite the efforts of Driver P Ferguson hampering an outside runner. Authorisation of this runner's 1st placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied that the outcome of the race had not been affected in this incident.
FREDASTAIRE - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future stands.
IRON BRIGADE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Broke again near the 750m losing further ground. A warning was also placed on the gelding's racing manners. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when breaking on two occasions during the running.
NELSON'S BOY - slow away and over the early stages. Raced wide from the 1100m. Weakened final turn.
ROUGH AND READY - hampered by an inside runner when forced wider in the run home.
LORD DELMAR - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Weakened rounding the final turn. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality.
Race 6   COLIN GOSS MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
COOL PHELAN - weakened from the 700m.
MR MONTY - weakened from the 700m.
ELIZABETH HILL - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
ARADNE - contacted track markers near the 250m when in restricted room.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
KOKO KABOOM - broke approaching the first turn losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
TWO FRANCS - broke at the start losing all chance. Stood down for future stands until having trialed on one occasion to the satisfaction of a Steward.
Race 7   DSL ELECTRICAL MOBILE PACE
LA BAMBA - unsuccessfully contested for the early lead and was obliged to race outside the leader throughout. Weakened in the run home.
S S GUPPY - paced roughly entering the first turn and broke for several strides. Broke again near the 250m when in restricted room losing its chance.
CYAMATE - paced roughly entering the first turn.
INDISPOSED - weakened in the run home.
