Stewards lodged a protest against 5th placing being awarded to the gelding under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging BREWSTER BAKER had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and BREWSTER BAKER was disqualified by the Stewards. | |

| MR CASH MAN - held up leaving the final bend. When asked to comment on the perceived improved performance trainer/driver M Williamson advised he had not been disappointed with the gelding's recent racing and today it was aided by a favourable draw and following a strong tempo which suited. | |
