Race 1   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS MOBILE PACE
BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE - lay outwards for a distance shortly after the start. Raced keenly middle stages. Held up early in the run home. Driver T Herlihy reported that he had not activated the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
JOES ROCK - broke approaching the first bend checking a trailing runner losing considerable ground. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend. Stewards questioned drivers C Hackett and Z Butcher (ALWAYS B ELITE) regarding the breaking of JOES ROCK and after hearing from both drivers a warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
TWO EYE SEE - raced wide early.
ALWAYS B YOU - raced wide early.
THE SURFER - lay outwards over the concluding stages.
COS I CAN - checked by a breaking runner approaching the first bend.
Race 2   LONE STAR ALEXANDRA PARK MOBILE TROT
HIGH NOON - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
TRIFOLIUM - pre-race warmed. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m losing ground.
CRAZY - pre-race warmed.
LUBY'S LUCK - over-raced middle stages. Weakened from the 500m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
WALKINONSUNSHINE - raced wide early.
FEARLESS - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m losing ground. Held up early stages of the run home.
MAGIC DASH - raced four wide from the 600m. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed symptoms of colic which was treated by the Veterinarian and the gelding was referred to the veterinary clinic for further assessment.
FAITH IN MANCHESTER - raced wide early and middle stages.
TU TANGATA - raced four wide with cover from the 600m then lay inwards rounding the final bend.
Race 3   GALLAGHER INSURANCE YOUNG GUNS 2YOF SERIES HEAT 2 MOB PACE
THE QUEENS GAMBIT - over-raced and lay inwards near the 900m. Lay inwards and was awkwardly placed to the back of RIPPLES, which had shied outwards, then when being steadied over-reacted and struck a knee breaking near the 300m losing ground hampering trailing runners. Connections advised they would be making gear changes.
RIPPLES - shied outwards near the 300m despite the efforts of the driver, locking wheels with ALECTO, hampering outside and trailing runners. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners. A protest was lodged under Rule 869(A)(2) against 1st placing being awarded to RIPPLES (B Orange) by Driver C Alford (ALECTO) alleging interference near the 300m. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers and Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the protest and placings were duly authorised.
COOL FOR CATS - raced four wide from the 550m. Lay outwards rounding the final bend.
ALECTO - raced wide early. Locked wheels with an inside runner near the 300m.
SPIRIT OF TUPELO - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m. Weakened in the run home.
RIVER - broke early in the score up but was in position at the candy pole. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m.
LINCOLN LINDA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m. Weakened in the run home.

Race 4   BRECKON FARMS YOUNG GUNS 2YO C&G SERIES HEAT 2 MOB PACE
FITZROY - over-raced approaching the 1100m when being restrained to take cover and continued to over-race thereafter.
ANDRETTI(AUS) - paced roughly and broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
PRINCE LINCOLN - weakened in the run home.
RATTLE MY CAGE - raced greenly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Raced greenly when shifting ground outwards near the 950m. Raced roughly near the 300m.
Race 5   PASCOES THE JEWELLERS NORTHERN OAKS MOBILE PACE
ARAFURA - a subsequent veterinary examination revealed chaffing to the upper off fore which will be treated by connections.
ALLETS - weakened final bend.
BESIDE ME - shifted outwards leaving the final bend but was corrected by Driver C Dalgety.
SWEET MAGGIE MAE - raced fiercely early and middle stages before being taken up the track and retired from the event near the 1400m. When questioned Driver J Dickie advised that the filly had commenced to choke down, so he took her clear of the field for safety reasons. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners.
WITHOUT YOU - lay inwards rounding the bends.
Race 6   BRECKON FARMS NORTHERN TROTTING DERBY MOBILE TROT
TRAVELIN SOLDIER - broke early in the score-up losing all chance.
YA EEJIT YA - over-raced middle stages.
YA RITE DARL - broke in the early stages of the score up and was out of position at the candy pole. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. Held up rounding the final bend.
ILLICIT LOVE - raced wide early and middle stages. Driver C Hackett reported that she sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 2300m.
HILLBILLY - Driver M McKendry admitted charges under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 2300m when striking the wheel of ILLICIT LOVE which punctured and also near the 2250m when striking the wheel of FINAL APPROACH which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr McKendry's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including the 29 May 2025 (8 days).
TYRONS STRAPPING LAD - raced wide from the 600m.
HABIBTI PAT - pre-race warmed.
WATERLOO STATION - broke near the 900m losing all chance.
MEANT TO BE - raced wide early.
FINAL APPROACH - Driver T Mitchell reported that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 2250m. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened from the 900m.
Authorisation of all placings was withheld due to the race being run over 2600m instead of the official distance of 2700m. Initial evidence was taken from Starter F Phelan and the club's mobile driver. It was established that a communication error in the score up regarding the distance markers prior to the 2700m starting point had occurred, leading to the start being effected at the incorrect point. As a result, the club's mobile driver was replaced, and the matter was referred to the club for further assessment. The Stewards submitted an information seeking a ruling from the Adjudicative Committee under Rule 1106(2)(b) on whether the race should be declared void. After reviewing the race replays and hearing submissions from the Stewards and Starter (F Phelan), and noting that no driver had raised concerns that their chances were adversely affected, the Adjudicative Committee declared the event a valid race. The all clear on the Judge's placings was subsequently authorised.
Race 7   WOODLANDS STUD NORTHERN DERBY MOBILE PACE
GOT THE CHOCOLATES - pre-race warmed. Commenced to weaken near the 300m placing an inside runner in restricted room. When questioned regarding the performance, Driver J Dunn advised that after unsuccessfully contesting the early lead and being forced to race outside the leader for the remainder of the event, the effort had taken its toll over the concluding stages.
SUGAR RAY LINCOLN - weakened from the 1000m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
TURN O THE TIDE - weakened from the 1000m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CAPTAIN SAMPSON - contacted track markers rounding the final bend when in restricted room.
Race 8   H R FISKEN & SONS ANZAC CUP HANDICAP TROT
MATTY A - broke entering the first bend and galloped for a considerable distance. Weakened from the 600m.
EYRE I WILL - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
MIDNIGHT DASH - Co-Trainers G & B Hope advised the gelding has had its hocks treated since last racing. Swung sideways after the barriers were released badly checking MUSCLE MOUNTAIN losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
JASINOVA - lay inwards when weakening near the 500m dislodging a track marker hampering a trailing runner.
NOT AS PROMISED - trotted roughly near the 750m. Weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
OSCAR BONAVENA - pre-race warmed. Broke at the start losing ground.
MUSCLE MOUNTAIN - Co-Trainers G & B Hope advised the gelding has had its hocks treated since last racing. Checked at the start losing all chance. Stewards withheld placings until they were satisfied that the interference had occurred after the start had been declared.
Race 9   DAWSON HARFORD NZ MESSENGER MOBILE PACE
REPUBLICAN PARTY - Driver C Dalgety advised that a corner of the dust sheet detached during the running.
INVISIBLE - broke in the early stages of the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
LITTLE SPIKE - weakened leaving the final bend.
CHASE A DREAM - when questioned regarding the performance Driver B Orange could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Race 10   AUCKLAND CO-OP TAXIS 300-3000 MOBILE PACE
IRON HEART - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
STELLA MARIS - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
AUNTY ROSE - hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Driver L Hollis reported that the removable deafeners failed to activate despite his efforts.
CRUMSY - raced four wide from the 550m.
MICK KONSTANTIN - over-raced early and middle stages. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner and lay inwards with Driver J Abernethy reporting that he did not activate the removable deafeners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
