BOOT SCOOTIN BOOGIE - over-raced early and middle stages. Weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
SHIRLEY BASSEY - checked near the 400m by an outside runner and broke losing its chance.
CLOUDING OVER - raced wide early.
AUCTIONEER - lay in throughout the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Lay in near the 400m despite the efforts of Driver T Mitchell checking an inside runner. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
FRANKIE - lay in throughout the score up. Broke at the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
EYES TO HEAVEN - over-raced middle stages.
Race 2   MVS EQUINE HOSPITAL MOBILE PACE
IFINDOUBT - checked by an outside runner and broke near the 250m checking trailing runners and losing its chance.
TUAREG - checked by a breaking runner near 250m and broke losing its chance.
KOWALSKI - Co-Trainers R & J Dunn were warned for the late driver notification of M White.
BUTLER - checked by a breaking runner near 250m losing ground.
BIG WHEELS - raced greenly and lay in near the 250m checking an inside runner with resultant interference to trailing horses. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 3   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND MOBILE PACE
BENJAMIN BUTTON - held up until near the 100m with Driver K Coppins not activating the deafeners as a result.
MESSENGER BUOY - held up until late in the run home.
ST JOHN EIGHT - raced wide without cover from the 950m.
SALUTE - over-raced middle stages.
MEDINA MAGIC - raced four wide from the 800m. Weakened rounding the final turn.
MIDFREW LUCRE - held up until late in the run home.
Race 4   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS HANDICAP TROT
KISS MY PIXEL - weakened from the 700m hampering trailing runners.
SASSY STAR- removed from the unruly for future standing starts.
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - hampered by a weakening runner leaving the back straight the final time and locked wheels with an inside runner passing the 400m losing ground.
VERONICA JANE - late scratching at 4.18pm on Veterinary advice.
HUGHIE WALLACE - slow to begin.
EMILY BAY - hampered by a weakening runner leaving the back straight the final time and locked wheels with an outside runner passing the 400m losing ground.
BARSUKOV - when questioned regarding the performance Driver L Chin advised that the midrace effort to find the lead had probably taken its toll.
MAJESTIC BUNDY - broke at the start losing its chance.
RUBY RIDGE - Driver P Ferguson reported that he had not activated the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 5   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
MURTLE THE TURTLE - weakened from the 600m. Due to a breakdown in communication with the Veterinarian this mare was not examined post-race. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
POWER N GLORY - when questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver M White stated that he was not disappointed with the run as the mare had worked hard to find the early lead and was then shuffled back with the lead changes during the running and had been required to attempt to make up ground wide rounding the final turn.
GREAT WHITE - raced wide early.
BETA PREPARE - Driver D Butcher reported that he had not activated the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
ULTIMATE MACH - weakened in the run home.
Race 6   OFF THE TRACK FOOD & BEV HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared at the first attempt when GRACE N ELEGANCE was backing away when the barriers were released. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
JUMPING JAKE FLASH - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again near the 1800m and then at the 1350m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier and racing manners.
BONNY PARKER - broke near the 1900m hampering trailing runners losing its chance.
MONARO MEG - lay out under pressure in the run home.
SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1900m.
CAVIAR NOIRE - broke near the 50m losing its chance.
LIGHT O LOVE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1900m.
GRACE N ELEGANCE - swung outwards when the barriers were released hampering an outside runner and was slow early losing ground. When questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher advised that he was satisfied with the effort given the ground that the mare had lost over the early stages.
BOSS JO - hampered shortly after the start and was slow early.
CHESINOV - slow early stages and trailed the field throughout. A warning was placed on the gelding's performance.
SUNNY ROBINSON - lay in contacting track markers final turn.
Race 7   FRIDAY STEAK NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE HANDICAP PACE
YOU LITTLE BEAUTY - swung outwards at the start and was slow to begin.
RED RACKHAM - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages.
