Race 1   LIVAMOL AMATEUR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
GLIDING HIGH - raced greenly passing the 700m and shifted up the track despite the efforts of driver C Wigg.
WATERHOLES ROAD - driver N Munro advised he was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.
ALMIGHTY CLEVER - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver B Wilmott was issued a warning for attempting a run when insufficient room existed passing the 150m.
ARCHIE - over-raced when racing wide early.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - a post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards questioned driver C Negus regarding the tactics she adopted passing the 1200m when electing not to shift wider when an opportunity existed. After hearing her explanation Stewards issued a charge under Rule 868(2) alleging she failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to win or obtain the best possible finishing place by failing to shift outwards near the 1200m to race in the one one position. Mrs Negus admitted the breach however during the course elected to change her plea and defend the charge with the matter being adjourned by the Adjudicative Committee until the NZ Metropolitan TC meeting on 19 April 2025.
VINRULES - required assistance from a Starting Attendant prior to the start. Out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver A Edge. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened rounding the final bend. Mr Edge advised the removable deafeners did not activate due to the cord breaking.
Race 2   TRACKSIDE DINING AVAILABLE 9, 16 & 23 MAY MOBILE PACE
SHAPELY - placed in restricted room by an outside runner racing into the first bend and struck track markers. Over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and early in the run home.
ART JORDAN - lay inwards racing into the first bend placing SHAPELY in restricted room which struck track markers in consequence.
VISCOUNT BANNER - held up passing the 100m. Driver R Houghton was issued a warning for attempting a run when insufficient room existed passing the 100m.
D'CASH - raced wide early.
RACINGMISSGRACIE - raced wide early.
FLOOZY SUZY - over-raced early when racing wide on the track. Weakened final bend.
ROCKIN ROMAN - held up until late in the run home. Driver J Cox advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence and the gelding had been hanging throughout.
MELTON ENFORCER - over-raced middle stages.
Race 3   MATT POULTNEY "THE LEGEND" 2YO MOBILE TROT
WOT UP TYRON - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver R May was unable to provide any explanation. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
PETITE AMOUR - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor abrasion on the right front heel bulb.
BREWSTER BAKER - broke after 100m losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
FLYING DREAMS - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B Orange. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
WHO'S YA DADDY - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the colt had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
Race 4   SAVE THE DATE - FRIDAY 13 JUNE "LADIES NIGHT 2025" MOB PACE
FAST ACE - raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
CHAL VEE POWER - raced wide with cover from the 1100m. When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer B Hutton advised the gelding had been racing without luck in recent starts and had received an economical run tonight.
IVONA DADIC - raced wide early. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
WIND IN THE WIRE - raced wide early. Over-raced when being restrained to obtain cover through the middle stages. Held up early in the run home.
FRANCO ELVIS - raced wide early. Jostled for a position with SHE'S A JEWEL in the early stages. Held up throughout the run home. Driver G Thornley advised she did not activate the sliding blinds and removable deafeners in consequence.
LORD FANTASY - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.
CARRERA TRANQUILO - held up late in the run home.
THE MANDALORIAN - trainer B Weaver was issued a warning for failing to have the correct colours available. Held up early in the run home.
LETS GET TROPICAL - raced wide with cover from the 1100m.

SHE'S A JEWEL - jostled for a position with FRANCO ELVIS in the early stages. Held up early in the run home.
BRONSKI - raced wide from the 1500m.
Race 5   NORWOOD MACHINERY MOBILE PACE
GIRLSHAVTIME - weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Holmes advised the mare had failed to respond when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
MELANDO CHIEF - weakened final bend.
LORD MUDRICK - driver C Butt admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Butt's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 19 April up to and including 25 April 2025 (2 days).
STUBING - paced roughly near the 100m having to be steadied by driver J Dunn.
DON'T TELL JENNY - raced wide early.
DON JUAN - when questioned regarding the improved performance connections advised the gelding has had its joints treated and also benefited from a drop back in class tonight. Trainer M Purvis was issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to advise the gelding has had its joints treated since last racing.
LILY'S A STAR - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m. Held up late in the run home.
Race 6   ANZAC DAY RACING & LEAGUE AT ADDIINGTON PACE
BROMAC TIMES - the required veterinary clearance was received. Broke at the start losing ground. Held up early in the run home.
AMBLESIDE DRIVE - broke briefly at the start. Paced roughly in the early stages. Held up early in the run home.
VRILO - broke at the start losing ground.
ULTIMATE COUNSEL - held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
ESTER LUCY - broke at the start losing considerable ground.

MEANDAD - when questioned regarding the performance driver S Ottley advised the gelding had trotted roughly on several occasions throughout however notwithstanding this she was disappointed with the effort. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

MODE - broke near the 1250m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
