Connections advised Stewards on 10 April that JOLIMONT has been treated for a blood disorder since last racing.

Trainer K McRae advised Stewards on 10 April that PIONEER has recovered well since its last start and he will continue with the gelding's current preparation.
Race 7 - THE PENINSULAR BEACHFRONT RESORT, MOOLOOLABA HANDICAP TROT
Co-trainer B Hope advised Stewards on 10 April that blood tests taken from EUROKASH following its last start had failed to detect any abnormalities and the gelding has been working well in preparation for racing at the NZ Metropolitan TC meeting tomorrow night.

Race 1   PRESIDENT'S MOBILE PACE
TASHS BAD GIRL - when spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer A Kyle advised the mare had been working well in the lead up after being recently treated for muscle tie up prior to its previous start and he was not surprised by the forward showing.
BOMBAY GLACIER - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - hung inwards shortly after the start and raced wide for a distance. Driver S Walkinshaw was warned for shifting inwards late in the score up and starting inside his allocated barrier position.
ASK ME LOU - weakened final bend.
HAZER - over-raced in the score up and again on several occasions throughout the running. Cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 2   ART BLOXHAM FAREWELL MOBILE PACE
HERE'S JOHNY - when questioned regarding the tactics he adopted near the 1700-metre mark when shifting from a trailing position to race in the running line, Driver P Hunter explained that the gelding performs better when there is genuine pace in the race. Mr. Hunter added that, as the pace eased momentarily during the middle stages, he believed his best option was to attempt to take the lead in order to maintain a genuine tempo. However, he was ultimately unable to do so. Stewards noted Mr. Hunter's explanation.
CHEZZ DALE - held up final bend.
AIRWAVES - paced roughly late in the run home. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
Race 3   TINKERTOWN TROT
MAJESTIC DAUGHTER - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
SONNY JIM - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
JAY BEE HILL - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
DAISYMEROLLIN - trainer B Gray was warned for presenting the filly with blinds which were not notified. Broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
ROYAL AHEARN - raced wide final bend.
TILLABERI - driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
THE GREEK FREAK - trotted roughly on the first bend and broke losing ground. Continued to trot roughly thereafter losing ground then broke again briefly near the 1100m losing all chance.
THE MERC - raced wide from the 800m.
HOBBS - slow through the early stages. Raced wide from the 1000m.
MADISON'S MOON - cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
KENNY'S MATE - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 4   SOUTHLAND VEHICLE SALES FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
SWEET DJ - held up early stages of the run home.
DIAMONDSONMYSHOES - raced wide early.
LOTTIE'S LUCK - held up early stages of the run home.
KATYS SHADOW - required the assistance of a Starting Attendant prior to the score up. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Raced wide final bend.
BOBBIE'S MAJORETTE - trainer S Matheson was warned for presenting the mare with a pacifier which was not notified.
RASPALIA - driver K Green dropped her whip passing the 150m.
OHOKA DIVA - weakened in the run home.
NORTHVIEW OCEAN - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Raced wide again without cover from the 1000m.
Race 5   MAUREEN HAMILTON MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
ERROL D - lay in final bend. When asked to comment on the improved performance, connections advised that the gelding had trialed well recently and trotted throughout, which contributed to a more forward showing today in a smaller field.
EMILY - lay out throughout the run home despite the efforts of driver K Green.
ABADABADO - placed in restricted room near the 400m having to be steadied. Weakened over the concluding stages. When asked to comment on the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed with the run which he attributed to the rise in class today.
JULIE JACCKA - lay in near the 400m placing an inside runner in restricted room despite the efforts of driver D Anderson.
Race 6   WILBUR ELLIS NZ LTD MOBILE PACE
DIVINE STORM - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
RAKAMICK - held up final bend.
COSMIC STAR - lay in at various stages throughout.
ACE OF SPADES - raced wide early.
MAJOR BOY - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
SHARE A DREAM - paced roughly early in the run home.
ULTIMATE PERFECTION - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
PASSCHENDAELE - driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
HEIDSIECK - trainer K Green was warned for presenting the gelding without the notified removable deafeners.
Race 7   NIGHTCAPS CONTRACTING MOBILE PACE
MONTAGE - broke near the 1500m hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Raced wide from the 800m before weakening rounding the final bend.
CLAASEE - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
MIKI'S BEAUTY - held up final bend.
RISING STORM - held up final bend.
UTAH JAZZ - raced wide early. Lay out rounding the final bend. Driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
HAROLD HANOVER - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1250m.
SODOYAHAVTIME - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m. Raced wide from the 800m before weakening final bend.
FOREVER ARDEN - raced wide for a distance from near the 1000m after UTAH JAZZ shifted ground outwards. Continued to race wide until reaching the parked position near the 700m. Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule however after viewing replays it was established that driver N Williamson (UTAH JAZZ) had commenced his outwards movement prior to FOREVER ARDEN reaching his sulky wheel with no further action deemed necessary.
Race 8   TRANSPORT SERVICES LTD MOBILE PACE
FOXING EASTON - weakened final bend. Placed in restricted room early in the run home.
FALCONS WATCH - shifted ground inwards early in the run home placing an inside runner in restricted room. Driver K Larsen was warned for the manner he drove at this stage of the race.
ALWAYS TICKING - raced wide early.
Race 9   TONY STEVENS MEMORIAL MOBILE TROT
HARRIET'S MOMENT - hampered by a weakening runner final bend then lay out early in the run home. Driver P Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners in consequence.
PRECIOUS MEMORIES - lay in leaving the final bend.
HAIL STONE - contacted a track marker when weakening final bend. Driver T Robertson was issued with a warning.
WANNA SNUGGLE - trotted roughly before weakening from the 800m and was not persevered with by driver N Williamson. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have an elevated heart rate. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
MC SQUARED - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
TOP OF THE HILL - trainer M House was warned for presenting the gelding without the notified anti-choke device.
Race 10   WREYS BUSH GARAGE MOBILE PACE
FIRST LIGHT - held up early stages of the run home.
RYLAN CHARLIE - weakened leaving the final bend.
ON THE WING - weakened in the run home. When asked to comment on the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed and could offer no explanation. Stewards will follow up with trainer D Baynes in the coming days.
