Race 11 - LOGAN McLELLAN SHEARING MOBILE PACE
After reviewing the footage and further analysis of driver K Green's (HACKSAW RIDGE) evidence as to her tactics near the 1800m when restraining the gelding allowing an inside runner to obtain a run in the one out line, Stewards concluded that Ms Green's actions at the time were reasonable, given the manner in which the horse had been racing and the circumstances she faced after being unable to secure the lead. Consequently, no further action was taken.

Race 1   REGENT CAR COURT 'DID YOU KNOW WE BUY CARS TOO' MOBILE PACE
HILLARY - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
LEDGER'S MAID - raced wide early. Hampered by the weakening CAPTAIN DASH rounding the final bend and locked sulky stays with this runner.
MIKI COHEN - raced wide early.
MOON LIGHT TERROR - raced wide from the 800m.
DONALD TROT - over-raced middle stages.
BALTIC STAR - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver R Gutsell. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
CAPTAIN DASH - raced wide early. Lay in rounding the bend near the 900m. Weakened rounding the final final bend hampering trailing runners and locked sulky stays with LEDGER'S MAID.
ULTIMATE PERFECTION - cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 2   BETAVET TROT
PHISHING - tangled away.
MAJESTIC DAUGHTER - trainer K Larsen was issued with a warning for presenting the mare with half-hopples which were not notified. Broke near the 1750m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
SONNY JIM - lay in rounding the final bend placing an inside runner in restricted room. Trotted roughly throughout the run home.
SPIRITINTHESKY - trainer K Green was issued with a warning for presenting the mare with the incorrect saddlecloth.
WHICH WAY - broke at the start losing ground. Trotted roughly in the run home.
TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN - trotted roughly and broke near the 1650m losing ground. Broke again near the 600m when weakening losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
MAJESTIC CHALLEN - broke near the 1700m losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Lay inwards striking track markers final bend.
ERAGON - struck track markers rounding the final bend when placed in restricted room by an outside runner.
THE GREEK FREAK - driver R Stevens was warned for half carting near the 1300m.
Race 3   BRUCE COLYER AUTO REFINISHER MOBILE PACE
GLENKENICK - lay in and paced roughly first bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
COLD PURSUIT - lay out under pressure near the 500m losing ground.
SUPERFAST - lay out on various occasions in the run home having to be corrected by driver K Green.
GEMS DELIGHT - lay in and paced roughly on the bends. Weakened final bend. Driver N Williamson reported he had difficulty steering the mare throughout. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
MONTAGE - raced wide through the middle stages.
HAROLD HANOVER - over-raced middle stages. Raced three wide with cover from the 800m.
BOMBAY GLACIER - raced wide from the 1000m.
EMERALD ABBEY - over-raced middle stages. When questioned regarding the perceived improved performance trainer/driver P Hunter advised the mare had been unlucky in recent starts and today had received a run to suit, adding he was not surprised by the effort.
VAN LIBERTY - briefly placed in restricted room near the 50m.
Race 4   PROVIDENT INSURANCE MOBILE PACE
EATMYDUST - weakened final bend.
SHARE A DREAM - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Lay in near the 900m striking a track marker.
Race 5   CREATION SIGNS HANDICAP TROT
EMILY - contacted a track marker on the final bend. Driver K Green was issued with a warning.
OUR SUPERFUND - lay in near the 1300m contacting a track marker. Broke leaving the final bend losing all chance.
Race 6   FINAL TOUCH / CLEAN-BIZ MOBILE PACE
MEGHAN MARKLE - paced roughly when entering the first bend contacting a track marker.
RAKNRUIN - held up leaving the final bend.
NYLA - lay in on the bend near the 900m.
TROJAN PRINCESS - driver B McLellan reported his near side sulky wheel was struck near the 1200m resulting in the tyre puncturing and coming off the rim.
WARD LAMON - shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages. Driver K Larsen admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) that he drove carelessly near the 1200m when allowing his horse to make contact with the near side sulky wheel of TROJAN PRINCESS resulting in the tyre puncturing and coming off the rim. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
Race 7   HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM KILKELLY PACE
GLIDING HIGH - tangled away. Held up leaving the final bend.
CRUISING FONTANA - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Sent to the Unruly position by Starter B Ward where the gelding will remain for future standing starts.
MR PRESIDENT - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again near the 1200m losing ground. Held up leaving the final bend and early in the run home. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when breaking at the start and during the running.
DOUBLE QUICK - began awkwardly.
CHEZZ DALE - a post-race Veterinary examination including an endoscopic procedure at the request of connections revealed the gelding to have some low grade inflammation which did not require treatment.
TREASURE COVE - driver T Williams reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
HAZER - broke at the start losing ground.
ITSALLABOUTTHEMONEY - held up early in the run home.
Race 8   VETSOUTH EQUINE SOUTHERN BELLE SPEED SERIES MOBILE PACE
SNAP SHOT - the off side sulky tyre deflated during the running.
MIDNIGHT BABE - weakened from the 600m. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver K Green advised she would give consideration to sending the mare for a spell.
LOUIES GIRL - Stewards questioned driver C Ferguson regarding the tactics he adopted for a distance from the 600m when electing to sit behind a tiring runner. Mr Ferguson explained his mare had been hanging on the bends and he was reluctant to go forward and be forced wider on the track at this stage of the race, adding he would be recommending gear changes to connections. Stewards noted Mr Ferguson's comments.
Race 9   ALL PURPOSE ENGINEERING / STIRLING AUTO REPAIRS MOBILE PACE
RAKASANDY - paced roughly at various stages throughout. Held up final bend.
JANAKA'S DELIGHT - weakened final bend.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - weakened final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
NETHERTON FRANCO - lay in rounding the first bend.
FLYING BIRD - checked and broke near the 1200m when ALWAYS ON SALE shifted inwards, losing ground and raced wide from this point.
DOUBLE JEOPARDY - driver N Burton reported she did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
ALWAYS ON SALE - shifted inwards near the 1200m and made contact with the legs of FLYING BIRD which was checked and broke in consequence. Junior driver E Barron, assisted by C Barron, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) that she drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $350.
