Race 1   DUNSTAN SPEEDFEED METRO TROTTERS SERIES FINAL MOBILE TROT
BUSY CANOODLING - weakened final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
LUBY'S LUCK - broke entering the first turn losing ground before settling at the rear. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality.
ITAINTNECESSARILYSO - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
YUROK - weakened in the run home.
SANINARMBRO - Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1100m when EYRE I WILL shifted out from the running line. It was established that Driver S Abernethy (EYRE I WILL) had commenced his outward movement prior to SANINARMBRO, which was improving wider on the track, reaching his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary. Raced keenly middle stages.

BENJAMIN BUTTON - held up by a weakening runner rounding the final turn.
LUKAKU - weakened in the run home.
MANTRA - paced roughly near the 1500m after a hopple middle carrier came adrift. Trainer J Young was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. Weakened final turn hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
CARRERA HOMBRE - held up by a weakening runner rounding the final turn.
Race 3   ROY YEE MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
MEMORIES - broke briefly at the start. Checked and broke passing the 1200m hampering trailing runners losing considerable ground.
TERABYTE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
ILLICIT LOVE - Junior Driver C Hackett (assisted by S Phelan) admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly near the 1200m when shifting ground inwards causing interference to MEMORIES which broke. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $450.
CYCLONE SALA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200m.
MAJESTIC CRACKER - pre-race warmed. Lay in entering the first turn and broke losing ground. Broke again approaching the 1200m losing further ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
SHES ALL LEGS - broke at the start and shifted outwards hampering an outside runner losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200m.
CHESINOV - hampered at the start. Slow early stages losing considerable ground and trailed the field.
HILLBILLY - Trainer S McCaffrey was warned for failing to have the correct colours available.
HAYLEY MHOR - broke passing the 1200m losing all chance.
Race 4   RSM MOBILE PACE
NELSON'S BOY - back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Slow early. Held up throughout the home straight when unable to secure clear running.
CAPTAIN SAMPSON - back from position at dispatch despite the efforts of Driver T Cameron. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
Race 5   NZB STANDARDBRED HARNESS MILLION 3YO FILLIES FINAL MOB PACE
WINELIGHT - lay in and contacted a track marker near the 300m.
ONE FOR JAY - lay in near the 250m and raced over a track marker. Weakened in the run home.
ALLETS - broke near the 300m when in restricted room after an inside runner lay out and lost its chance.
ALWAYS B MAGIC - raced wide from the 1250m.
ALWAYS B MISTY - over-raced middle stages.
WITHOUT YOU - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear.
IRON HEART - lay out near the 300m placing an outside runner in restricted room. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners. Weakened in the run home.
Race 6   NZB STANDARDBRED HARNESS MILLION 3YO C & G FINAL MOB PACE
DOO YOU WANT ME - lay in when weakening final turn.
MARKETPLACE - raced wide early.
SUGAR RAY LINCOLN - over-raced when caught wide early and middle stages before being restrained to the rear. Lost contact with the body of the field near the 800m.
MIKE ROSS - weakened in the run home.
THE JOLLY ROGER - Co-Trainers R & J Dunn were charged a $25 colour fee.
LINCOLN LOU - Driver A Poutama was questioned in relation to the manner in which he shifted ground near the 1100m when moving MIDNIGHT MIKI wider. Mr Poutama advised that his colt had overreacted when shifting out faster than anticipated which resulted in MIDNIGHT MIKI becoming unbalanced for several strides. Stewards took the matter no further other than to note the circumstances.
DEMON BLUE - over-raced middle stages. Held up early final turn.
MIDNIGHT MIKI - raced wide from the 1000m.
Race 7   AUCKLAND CO-OP TAXIS 300-3000 CITY OF AUCKLAND FFA MOB PACE
CHASE A DREAM - locked wheels for several strides with MO'UNGA near the 120m.
INVISIBLE - lay in and raced over a track marker near the 1250m. Over-raced middle stages. Held up late in the run home.
KANGO - lay in contacting track markers near the 1250m then again near the 250m.
JOLIMONT - weakened rounding the final turn. When questioned Driver T Herlihy advised that the gelding had raced lethargically and been under pressure with a lap to run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Stewards will follow up with Trainer A Donnelly in the coming days.
REPUBLICAN PARTY - pre-race warmed. Raced wide early. When questioned Driver C Dalgety advised that the early effort when wide and then being left without cover outside the leader when the front was not available had taken its toll
MO'UNGA - held up early stages of the run home. Locked wheels for several strides with CHASE A DREAM near the 120m.
WE WALK BY FAITH - held up early final turn.
Race 8   BRECKON FARMS YOUNG GUNS 2YO C & G SERIES HEAT 1 MOB PACE
FUGITIVE - paced roughly shortly after the start.
ALLAMERICANPLAYER - over-raced when wide early before being restrained to the rear. Held up final turn and middle stages of the run home.
RAHM - lay in late in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on colt's barrier manners. Driver T Herlihy advised that he had been unable to fit the removable deafeners prior to the score up due to RAHM becoming fractious.
LINCOLN LOVER - raced wide early before improving forward approaching the bell but was then obliged to continue racing three wide without cover for the remainder.
YANKEE FLYBYE - Driver A Poutama reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 50m when contacted by ALLAMERICANPLAYER which had an outside runner shifting ground inwards contributing to the incident. Given the circumstances Stewards took the matter no further.
Race 9   GALLAGHER INSURANCE YOUNG GUNS 2YOF SERIES HT 1 MOB PACE
BIG MIKI - permission was granted for the rein burr to be removed prior to the start after the filly failed to warm up favourably. Paced roughly rounding the final turn and lay in contacting several track markers. Broke near the 150m losing its chance. Stewards lodged a protest against this runner's 4th placing under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the filly had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and BIG MIKI was disqualified by Stewards. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners.
LINCOLN LINDA - pulled hard in the score up. Continued to over-race early stages before being taken forward to lead near the 1000m.
SPIRIT OF TUPELO - when questioned Driver T Mitchell advised that he had elected to shift out off the leader's back near the 600m as he felt the filly would be best suited to being allowed to roll at that stage rather than have the race develop into a sprint home.
Race 10   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS HANDICAP TROT
JASINOVA - required assistance from an Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
HILLBILLY BLUES - checked when contacted by an outside runner at the start with Driver C Hackett becoming unbalanced in the sulky briefly resulting in the gelding then trotting roughly for several strides.
TRAVELIN SOLDIER - swung sideways at the start contacting the sulky of HILLBILLY BLUES then broke losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
