After hearing his explanation Stewards issued a charge under Rule 869(3)(g) which Mr Ford defended, alleging he drove in a manner capable of diminishing the chances of his horse winning by electing to remain racing wide before weakening. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Ford the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Ford's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 4 April 2025 (8 days). | |
