Race 1   MARLEY NZ MOBILE PACE
RAKADEAKS - over-raced when wide early. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance of a favoured runner trainer/driver R Stevens advised he was disappointed and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
ASK ME LOU - weakened final bend.
COLD PURSUIT - raced wide early. Weakened from the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
ROBYNS ART - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 2   IPLEX PIPES TROT
THE GREEK FREAK - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again rounding the first bend losing considerable ground.
PANDEMIC - trotted roughly rounding the final bend and again over the concluding stages.
ANNROSE - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards had viewed the footage and were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
TILLABERI - broke at the start losing all chance and proved difficult for driver N Williamson to restrain. Mr Williamson reported the mare had attempted to kick out. A warning was placed on the barrier record of TILLABERI.
DIDN'T DI - broke briefly passing the 1000m losing ground.
CLOUDY - broke passing the 1700m losing ground. Broke again rounding the final bend losing all chance.
Race 3   RHEEM MOBILE PACE
DARE DEVIL - when spoken to regarding the perceived improved performance trainer/driver K Tomlinson advised the gelding had received a run to suit on a strong pace and performs best when saved for one run.
LOU'S DEAL - weakened leaving the final bend.
Race 4   MICO MOBILE PACE
No racing incidents to report.
Trainer C Barron advised Stewards on 12 March that ALWAYS ON SALE has had a joint treated since last racing.
Race 5   MM BRANDS HANDICAP TROT
SPELLS OF LOVE - weakened final bend.
ONE TWO MENNY - broke at the start losing ground.
ANDY HALL - trotted roughly rounding the final bend.
STYRAX - lay in throughout the run home despite the efforts of driver N Williamson.
Trainer R Heads advised Stewards on 28 February that SPELLS OF LOVE has been treated for a virus since last racing.
Race 6   PLUMBING WORLD MOBILE PACE
DONALD TROT - weakened over the concluding stages.
DIAMONDSONMYSHOES - lay in and locked wheels with SWEET DJ entering the first bend hampering trailing runners, then continued to lay in rounding the bend. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
MOON LIGHT TERROR - weakened final bend.
SURE TO RISE - paced roughly shortly after the start.
SHERGAR - driver J Douglas reported he was unable to release the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
SWEET DJ - locked wheels with DIAMONDSONMYSHOES entering the first bend and as a consequence raced inside and contacted several track markers. Paced roughly for a distance near the 1100m.
THE REAL CRUNCH - hampered entering the first bend.
TRUE IMAGE - hampered entering the first bend.
ULTIMATE PERFECTION - hampered entering the first bend.
Race 7   BUTELINE HANDICAP TROT
SON OF THE CLEANER - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming..
VELOCITY JET - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. Weakened final bend.
OUR SUPERFUND - pre-race warmed. Slow to begin.
HOT SAUCY BETTY - broke at the start losing all chance.
LIL WHIP - driver B Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
BLITHE - trotted roughly in the run home.
SHARMA TROUBLE - lay out on the bend near the 1300m. Weakened final bend.
ERROL D - slow to begin. Weakened final bend.
AH DINNAE KEN - broke at the start losing ground.
Trainer N Chalmers advised Stewards on 28 November that SHARMA TROUBLE has been treated for a virus since last racing.
Race 8   CONGRATS COLIN MAYNARD LIFE MEMBER MOBILE PACE
PUTERE BOY - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and early to middle stages of the run home until obtaining clear racing room passing the 150m.
STILLYOURSHOT - over-raced when being restrained to take cover in the early stages. When asked to comment on the improved performance trainer B Gray advised the gelding had received a run to suit on its preferred grit surface and also benefitted from being saved for one run.
JENNY GUMP - over-raced through the middle stages. Driver G Goodman, assisted by N Williamson, was warned for half carting for a distance from the 2000m.
RIGHTAZZ - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 9   ALABAR SOUTHERN SUPREMACY STAKES (HEAT 1) MOBILE PACE
SOUTH BEACH - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TRAIN STATION - weakened final bend.
BETTOR GO VINNIE - late scratching on veterinary advice at 4.25pm.
BY CHANCE - cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
