| CLAUDE - broke for several strides shortly after the start when contacting the sulky wheel of ALWAYS FLYIN. It was established that both runners had shifted ground marginally with no further action deemed necessary. Weakened in the run home. | |

| ROUGH AND READY - hung in late in the score up and was back from position at dispatch despite the efforts of Driver J Abernethy. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Weakened in the run home. | |

| SHOWTYM GIRL - lay in contacting track markers rounding the final turn and again near the 150m when looking for a run in the passing lane. Driver L Hibell was issued with a warning. | |
| INFAMEE - a middle carrier came adrift during the running. This gear was inspected and found to have been taped with no action being taken against Co-Trainers S & A Telfer accordingly. Lay in having to be steadied rounding the final turn and raced over several track markers. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied that the colt had not gained any unfair advantage in this incident. | |
| DEMON BLUE - when questioned regarding the performance Co-Trainer/Driver M Purdon stated that this runner only battled in the run home after having received a favourable run and he was disappointed with its effort. Mr Purdon further stated that he would have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days. Stewards will follow up with the results. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality. | |

| CONRAD H - broke briefly at the start. Hampered by RUN FOREST RUN near the 350m losing ground. | |
| HILLBILLY BLUES - trotted roughly shortly after the start then broke losing all chance. | |
| ROCK ON JAZZ - the deafener hood became detached after having been activated near the 700m. Broke near the 400m losing its chance. | |
| RUN FOREST RUN - over-raced early and middle stages. Blundered when challenging four wide near the 350m and fell but quickly regained its feet. Was immediately attended to by the Veterinarian with the Horse Ambulance not being required. A post-race veterinary examination revealed abrasions to the offside knee and also to the jaw which required treatment. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Driver L Neal was checked by oncourse St John Ambulance staff and found to have sustained some bruising. | |

Junior Driver M Ranger (assisted by B Hackett) defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly racing into the first turn by allowing her gelding to shift inwards when not sufficiently clear resulting in VORONOV (L Chin) being checked and breaking. After hearing the relative evidence and viewing the replays the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended Ms Ranger's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 4 March 2025 (2 days). | |
