Race 1   CARRIERS ARMS OLE CODGERS MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared after ULTIMATE PERFECTION raced fiercely and broke in the score up resulting in the offside hind hopple coming adrift in consequence and the gelding being declared a late scratching 12.21pm. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
LEDGER'S MAID - placed in restricted room rounding the first bend.
TACT RONIN - trainer T Proctor was warned after presenting the gelding without a saddlecloth number. Broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
ALWAYS BE BOOTIE - paced roughly and hung outwards on the first bend hampering an outside runner, and placing an inside runner in restricted room. Raced greenly again hampering an outside runner near the 250m. Shifted out late in the run home despite the efforts of driver B Barclay. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BLUE BOY - briefly hampered near the 250m.
DONALD TROT - hampered rounding the first bend.
SKY PATROL - required the assistance of a Starting Attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Briefly paced roughly after 200m.

Race 2   TRANSPORT SERVICES LTD (TSL) FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
MATAI LIZZIE - briefly lay out near the 250m.
BALTIC STAR - raced three wide without cover from the 1100m. Lay inwards passing the 250m becoming awkwardly placed on the sulky wheel of MATAI LIZZIE which had simultaneously lay outwards at that stage of the race.
DRAGONESS - paced roughly in the score up, breaking and making heavy contact with the outside fence losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stood down to complete one mobile trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
ROSA PARKS - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver P Hunter. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Lay outwards on several occasions during the running.
DIAMONDSONMYSHOES - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver E Barron. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
HILLARY - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B McLellan. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.

Race 3   RIVERTON RURAL TRANSPORT / MAX WINDERS SHEARING TROT
SPIRITINTHESKY - placed in restricted room racing into the first bend, making contact with several track markers.
FATHER ON DOWN - broke after 200m losing all chance and placing an inside runner in restricted room. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer R Austin.
THE GREEK FREAK - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN - co-trainers A & G Milne were warned for presenting the gelding without the notified pacifier and with half-hopples which were not notified. Broke after 100m losing considerable ground. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts.
SONNY JIM - broke near the 1600m losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Lay inwards and trotted roughly throughout the run home and was unable to driven out by driver M Hurrell.
TILLABERI - broke passing the 1600m losing considerable ground. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
PEGGY GEE - slow in the early stages.
MAJESTIC CHALLEN - broke near the 1600m losing all chance.

CUTIE - driver K Tomlinson reported the mare had lay inwards on several occasions during the running.
NO PERFECT PRINCESS - held up final bend.
MONTAGE - briefly paced roughly near the 1600m. Raced three wide from the 1000m.
HAVARTI ARDEN - broke after 150m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
HAROLD HANOVER - paced roughly late late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MACK PACK - driver H Douglas was warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
Race 5   RIVERTON WATERFRONT CAFE / MACCA LODGE TROT
MC SQUARED - broke briefly at the start. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts.
SPELLS OF LOVE - late scratching at 8.51am due to transport difficulties.
HAIL STONE - raced in restricted room entering the first bend.
SON OF THE CLEANER - broke passing the 1550m losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when in a break. Lay inwards entering the first bend placing an inside runner in restricted room.
MAJESDIX - broke at the start losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
BLITHE - briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m. Broke near the 700m hampering a trailing runner and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
JUSTINE JACCKA - driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
OUR SUPERFUND - pre-race warmed. Broke passing the 1500m checking and hampering trailing runners losing all chance. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
ERROL D - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Checked by a breaking runner near the 1500m and broke in consequence.
BURNING LOVE - connections reported the mare would be racing in foal. Briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m. Again hampered by a breaking runner near the 700m.
HENNESSY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m. Lay inwards final bend contacting a track marker.
HOT SAUCY BETTY - connections reported the mare would be racing in foal. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
Race 6   KINGS MECHANICAL LTD / RIVERTON BUTCHERY MOBILE PACE
SUMMIT ULTRA - paced roughly in the middle stages of the run home. Driver K Green reported she was unable to release the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
TEN DA TOUCH - raced wide early.
MATAI HARRY - lost contact with the field for a distance from the 1200m.
FORTY WIVES - when questioned regarding the perceived improved performance driver K Tomlinson advised the gelding had raced without luck at its last start and had benefited from receiving an economical run near the pace today.
POUNAMU - raced three wide without cover from the 1100m. Weakened in the run home.
PARADISE VALLEY - when questioned regarding the perceived improved performance trainer N Aitken advised the mare had benefitted from a return to the grass track and had received a run to suit today.
Race 7   NEVILLE CLEAVER FISHING APARIMA HANDICAP TROT
SAMANTHAS MOON - driver K Green was warned for using the whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
IMPERIAL MAN - commenced to pace after 200m having to be broken up by driver R McIlwrick to return the gelding to its correct gait, losing all chance.
MIXED FAITH - broke passing the 250m. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation firstly by not having broken in excess of 150m and secondly had not been in a break for more than 50m inside the final 200m.
RATA - late scratching at 7.19am on veterinary advice. Connections were advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the mare racing next.
HIDDEN TALENT - the boring pole was removed prior to the start due to the mare warming up unfavourably. Driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
TE RAPA - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ANDY HALL - delayed the start when fractious in the pre-race formation and fell to the track. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ONE TWO MENNY - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MOMENT OF WHAT - broke passing the 700m losing all chance. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. Observed post-race to have blood present in the nasal area with a subsequent veterinary examination including an endoscopic procedure confirming the gelding not to be a bleeder.
JIMMY CARTER - pre-race warmed. Hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start and broke in consequence losing all chance.
Race 8   CARRIERS ARMS HOTEL RIVERTON CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
FALCONS WATCH - broke at the start losing ground.
TABASCO - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MR CASH MAN - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Driver M Williamson was spoken to advisedly for the manner he drove near the 200m when shifting outwards and briefly placing an outside runner in restricted room.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BOBBIES ROCK - driver K Green was issued with a $200 Minor Infringement Notice for being late to arrive at the start area.
DENY EVERYTHING - briefly placed in restricted room near the 200m.
Race 9   HIPPOS FIRE WOOD SUPPLIES / HYDE LANDSCAPING MOBILE PACE
DARE DEVIL - weakened in the run home. When spoken to regarding the performance of the favoured runner trainer/driver K Tomlinson advised the gelding had over-raced on occasions throughout which had taken its toll over the concluding stages.
SANTANNA MACH - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1100m.
LOU'S DEAL - late scratching at 8.51am due to transport difficulties.
ALWAYS ON SALE - out of position at the start. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts. Hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1100m. Held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
MATAURA B B - broke passing the 1100m hampering trailing runners, losing all chance. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
