Race 1   OFF THE TRACK FOOD AND BEV TROT
BOSS JO - unable to hold the back of SUNNY ROBINSON near the 1200m which enabled TRAVELIN SOLDIER to shift out from the marker line to fill that position.
SUNNY ROBINSON - pre-race warmed.
KC'S PRINCESS - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Broke again near the 1700m when trailing the field. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
Race 2   TACO THURSDAY AT THE CLUBHOUSE SPORTS BAR MOBILE PACE
MR WONDERFUL - broke near the 1850m losing all chance when racing to the inside of IRISH WHISPERS which lay in. Junior Driver D Grundmann (assisted by J Abernethy) was shown the replays and warned for the manner in which he drove in this incident when failing to concede his position.
NAROBI - weakened final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality.
IRISH WHISPERS - lay out in the early and middle stages of the run home when attempting to use the passing lane.
LINCOLN LA MOOSE - the offside number detached during the middle stages and hung down. Weakened final turn. Co-Trainers R Green & N Delany were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after a middle carrier came adrift during the running. A post-race veterinary examination, which included an endoscopic procedure, revealed an irregularity with the epiglottis which requires further investigation. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
BARBAROSSA - raced wide early before obtaining a position midfield in the running line. Weakened in the run home.
BETA PREPARE - raced wide from the 1050m.
WALTZING WITH MIKI - raced wide without cover from the 1200m before crossing to the parked position near the 400m.
Race 3   TOTE BURGER WED, THU, FRI, PROVINCIAL TROT HEAT 3 HCP TROT
The start was delayed when DRAGONSTONE reared and lunged forward through the front barrier. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. The start was further delayed when DRAGONSTONE again reared and went through the front barrier, however it was established there had been an issue with the 10m handicap horses which resulted in Starter D Blakemore not being satisfied that a fair start could be effected. The race eventually started 7 minutes late.
JASINOVA - required assistance from an attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
RUN FOREST RUN - stood on the mark briefly when the barriers were released.
PATRICK MAHOMES - lay in near the 300m and became awkwardly placed to the sulky of ROMEO FOXTROT which resulted in an inside runner being crowded down onto track markers.
BARSUKOV - commenced to weaken near the 500m hampering a trailing runner near the 300m.
LOVE ON LINE - raced in restricted room briefly passing the 400m.
LOVEMEAGAIN - broke near the 1750m hampering trailing runners losing all chance.
MAZEPPA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1750m. Lay in rounding the final turn before being hampered by a weakening runner and contacted track markers.
ROCK ON JAZZ - trotted roughly passing the 1800m then had to be steadied when hampered by a breaking runner losing ground and trailed the field thereafter.
RUBY RIDGE - contacted and dislodged track markers near the 300m when crowded by an outside runner which lay in and had to be steadied conceding its position.
Race 4   SUMMER OUTDOOR MOVIE SERIES AT THE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
BLUE STAR HIMA - lay in rounding the final turn losing ground.
FINAL CHANGE - held up briefly near the 300m.
RASMUSSIN EFFECT - lay in rounding the turns and in particular the final turn losing momentum.
PASS CODE - weakened final turn.
Race 5   BETAVET PREPARE PROVINCIAL PACERS HEAT 3 MOBILE PACE
HEAVEN HIGH - shifted out early in the run home when Driver M Ranger activated the removable deafeners briefly hampering an outside runner but was immediately corrected.
TYSON - when questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher stated that the colt had lay in prior to the dispatch and lost the opportunity to go forward from the favorable draw. Mr Butcher further stated that this runner had lay in again rounding the final turn and peaked on its run in what was its first race for a month.
MARY MAGDALENE - over-raced entering the back straight the first time when being restrained to take up a position on the marker line. Weakened in the run home.
AYE AYE CAPTAIN - pre-race warmed.
ALWAYS B CHARLIE - briefly hampered by an inside runner early in the home straight.
Race 6   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS WAIKATO TROTTING BREEDERS STAKES HCP TROT
KAWARAU LIL - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground. Weakened in the run home.
IT AIN'T ME BABE - driver T Macfarlane reported that he had been unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
CON GRAZIA LOVE - broke passing the 400m losing all chance.
AMERICAN MUSCLE - broke at the start losing all chance.
SHEZ BELLA - broke near the 200m losing all chance.
HIGH ENERGY - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 7   GAVELHOUSE.COM PROVINCIAL PACERS HEAT 4 MOBILE PACE
BLAZING LOUIE - required assistance from an attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Driver A Poutama was shown the replays and spoken to advisedly in relation to the manner in which he shifted ground leaving the final turn. When questioned regarding this runner's performance Mr Poutama advised that he was disappointed as BLAZING LOUIE had found little when asked for an effort over the final stages.
TWO EYE SEE - shifted in marginally on straightening for the run home contributing to an inside runner being placed in restricted room.
MINJEE - had to be strongly restrained passing the 200m when placed in restricted room after runners on both sides shifted ground.
HOORAY HENRY - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
LOUEZYANA - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear near the 1400m. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
DOO YOU WANT ME - held up early final turn and contacted a track marker near the 250m.
Race 8   MVS EQUINE PROVINCIAL PACERS HEAT 5 MOBILE PACE
PROVISEUR - over-raced middle stages.
ONYX SHARD - when questioned Driver Z Butcher could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed signs of a respiratory infection. Connections advised the mare will be examined by the stable's veterinarian and bloods taken in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the results.
JACCKA OPA - raced wide early then briefly paced roughly when being restrained to the rear.
