Race 1   WINGS INTERNATIONAL MOBILE PACE
MISS WOODVILLE - weakened in the run home.
TRES BONNE FILLE - lay out rounding the final turn.
MAGIE DO - broke near the 200m losing its chance.
WAI B NGARO - approval was given for this runner to come to the mobile early. Broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke racing over the crossing near the 1700m losing all chance and was retired from the event. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
Race 2   THE TELEGRAPH HOTEL OTAKI HANDICAP TROT
SCOOTS - trotted roughly throughout the run home and mixed its gait over the final stages.
HENRIK LUNDQVIST - Driver D Grundmann was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
TRIPPY TYRON - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
COSMIC ANGEL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
KING OF DIAMONDS - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - raced wide from the 950m.
QUERCUS RUBRA - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final turn.
SON OF PATRICK - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 3   KID KARTZ 19TH JANUARY @ OTAKI MOBILE PACE
BAILEYS PITCH - paced roughly near the 100m.
ONETANGI GIRL - over-raced early and middle stages.
BET ON STEPH - Trainer B Ellis advised the mare would be racing without front shoes. Broke at the start hampering a trailing runner and lost all chance. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
RAKERO SCOTTY - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
Race 4   HARNESS RACING @ OTAKI JANUARY 19TH & 21ST MOBILE PACE
ENYA FRANCO - placed in restricted room entering the first turn. Weakened in the run home.
EDDIE OSEI - crowded briefly entering the first turn. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver J Abernethy was spoken to advisedly in relation to placing an inside runner in restricted room entering the first turn. Lost ground when being steadied passing the 1100m but soon recovered.
MEGYN KELLY - out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Paced roughly at various stages and in particular near the 350m. Driver H Orange advised that the mare had been contacting her sulky wheel discs.
CRISTIANO BUCCINI - Driver L Hibell was spoken to advisedly in relation to placing inside runners in restricted room entering the first turn. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight.
Race 5   PAST MEMBERS MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
UNCLE DREW - lay out rounding the final turn. Shifted out under pressure in the run home despite the efforts of Driver D Ferguson.
WHITEBAIT MARG - weakened in the run home.
LORD DELMAR - raced wide early.
VICTOR BRAVO - broke late in the score up losing all chance and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
STEALERS WHEEL - held up early in the run home.
