Race 1   HAYKEAWAI / PATERSONS LAND PROFESSIONALS MOBILE PACE
SEARING LIGHT - got its head under the mobile arm in the score up. Held up final bend. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until the Stewards had viewed replays of the start and were satisfied the mare had not started in advance of the mobile barrier. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Driver A Edge was warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
JAZZY STYX - driver M House was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
NYLA - driver C Wigg reported the mare had been striking the sulky wheel discs during the running.
Race 2   ONE OVER LODGE / REMARKABLES ORCHARD / NEW WORLD ALEX TROT
FATHER MIKE - broke rounding the first bend hampering trailing runners. Again broke passing the 900m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BLUEY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m.
ERAGON - required the assistance of Starting personnel prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner leaving the first bend and broke for a short distance in consequence.
SPIRITINTHESKY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m.
TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN - broke at the start hampering trailing runners losing considerable ground. Again broke near the 900m losing all chance.
DIDN'T DI - trotted roughly rounding the first bend and eased hampering a trailing runner. Trotted roughly again throughout the run home.
GARONNE - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Again hampered by a breaking runner leaving the first bend.

Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. Driver N Williamson reported the mare had raced greenly on occasions.
MADISON'S MOON - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Again hampered rounding the first bend and broke in consequence hampering trailing runners losing considerable ground. Held up rounding the final bend.
Race 3   FRESH CHOICE ROXBURGH / REDPATHS / FLANNERY TAIT TROT
SUPERFAST GORSEY - hung inwards and trotted roughly before breaking passing the 1400m. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend.
TINKERBELLE - trotted roughly late in the run home having to be steadied by driver C Dalgety.
KYLE LOCH - broke briefly at the start. Weakened from the 700m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
BRIANNA - shifted out in the early stages of the run home. Driver D McCormick was warned to ensure he maintains a straight course in the run home.
MC SQUARED - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
MISS GRACIE - broke passing the 1700m losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
JACCKA BAYLIS - switched to a pace after 150m having to be broken up by driver W House losing considerable ground.
MODE - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
MOA MOJITO - broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground..

BURNHAM GIRL - broke just prior to the start hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
BEYOND DOUBT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
LOVEYOURMOTHER - lay inwards and broke passing the 900m hampering trailing runners losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SEASIDE POND - raced three wide without cover from the 1200m. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
GATI - hampered by a breaking runner just prior to the start, Held up final bend.
CAPTAIN AMORE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
LA BAMBA - lay out in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer/driver R Austin advised the gelding had worked well in the lead up and received a run to suit today. Mr Austin admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a suspension of Mr Austin's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 6 January up to and including 26 January 2025 (2 days).

WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - lay inwards contacting a track marker on the final bend.
PENNY WEIGHT - the near side number came loose during the running when the connecting clip broke.
FRANCO TIM - raced wide early and middle stages before reaching the parked position near the 900m.
Race 6   JESCO HYDRAULICS / MACCA LODGE FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
ONE FOR JAY - driver K Butt reported she did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
CUTIE - weakened final bend.
HAVARTI ARDEN - broke in the score up however was in position at the start. Raced wide from the 800m. Weakened final bend.
TRENDY VAN GOGH - weakened final bend.
ATALANTA - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
OAKLEY SHARD - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after rearing in the pre-race circle and momentarily falling to the track with the mare being cleared to start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
FETA GO FERNCO - lay inwards and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of CUTIE having to be steadied near the 1600m. Weakened final bend.
SHEZZA VINNY - paced roughly and broke briefly passing the 1750m. Weakened final bend.
Race 7   RITCHIE McDONALD & VAL WHYTE MEMORIAL TROT
DWINDLE STAR - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - broke briefly at the start.
BLITHE - trotted roughly in the early stages.
SWITCH ON - trotted roughly final bend and throughout the run home.
DANCING GLENIS - raced wide in the early stages. Broke when weakening final bend and lost the near hind boot when in a break. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 8   HAWKESWOOD MINING / C A J APPLES JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
MAGIC SIGN - weakened from the 600m. Driver H Douglas advised the gelding had been on one rein throughout and had difficulty negotiating the bends. A post-race veterinary examination revealed signs of lameness. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
SUPERFAST - paced roughly rounding the first bend.
DREAMALITTLEDREAM - broke at the start hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
LILY'S A STAR - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Broke passing the 1200m losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
MR PRESIDENT - the near side sulky tyre deflated near the 700m and subsequently came off the rim.
THE WULVER - over-raced near the 700m and was awkwardly placed to the inside of MR PRESIDENT and contacted the sulky wheel of that runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BOWLEM OVER - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to race. Hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
Race 9   EVENING COVE HANDICAP TROT
MIXED FAITH - trotted roughly in the early stages losing ground.
FRANCO JOSIAH - lay inwards rounding the final bend contacting a track marker.
RUSH - weakened from the 700m. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised the mare had worked too hard in the early stages and this had taken its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
SAMANTHAS MOON - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Trotted roughly through the middle stages. Weakened from the 700m.
SUPERFAST RONNIE - broke after 100m losing ground. Trotted roughly and broke rounding the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SHEZA GIFT - broke briefly passing the 900m. Held up final bend.
Race 10   PETERS GENETICS ROXBURGH CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
A false start was declared when the Starter Mr B Ward was not satisfied with the way the horses addressed the barriers.
