JUST RICKY - backed away just prior to the barrier being released then stood on the mark losing all chance. Authorisation of dividends was withheld when driver K Gill requested to view Stewards footage of the start to determine whether her runner had been denied a fair start. Stewards sought a ruling from the Adjudicative Committee who, after viewing replays, declared JUST RICKY a runner, ruling the gelding had not been denied a fair start. Miss Gill was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the early stages. | |
