Stable representative G Sugars advised Stewards that BETTER ECLIPSE had recovered well following the slightly disappointing run.
Race 9 - IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION MOBILE PACE
Junior Driver M Ranger (assisted by Z Butcher) admitted a breach of Rule 869(4) and the Home Straight Regulations in that she allowed SPIRITED PEGGY to shift down into the passing lane near the 150m forcing SEA OF LOVE over several track markers. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.

Race 1   TAB GOLDEN GAIT AGED R49 - R60 MOBILE TROT
SANINARMBRO - hampered and broke entering the first bend losing ground.
LOVE ON LINE - broke entering the first bend hampering a trailing runner and lost considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke again near the 400m when trailing the field.
SHESGOLD - over-raced middle stages.
ILSAS SON - raced wide early.
CASTANA - raced wide early.
KIMKAR DASH - trotted roughly late in the score and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Held up early stages of the run home.
MONARCH HILL - held up by a weakening runner near the 300m.
FEARLESS - the near hind bandage came adrift over the early stages. Trainer S Wigg was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to ensure the bandage was affixed so as not to come adrift. Raced wide early.
Race 2   TAB GOLDEN GAIT AGED R35 - R46 MOBILE PACE MOBILE PACE
CLOUDING OVER - connections advised that the mare would be racing in season.
DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER - lay inwards entering the first bend and had to be steadied. Raced wide early.
BET WEST - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear.
MCKENDRICK - lay inwards and paced roughly entering the first bend.
KOURTNEY KARDASH - lay inwards contacting a track marker near the 1300m. Held up late in the run home.
ALWAYS B STUNNING - raced four wide from near the 600m.

CYCLONE SALA - lay inwards contacting several track markers approaching the 200m.
HILLBILLY - broke entering the first bend losing all chance hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
KENNY HILL - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend.
ILLICIT LOVE - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend. Driver C Hackett reported that she sustained a punctured sulky tyre entering the first bend.
YA EEJIT YA - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
FINAL APPROACH - broke approaching the 150m losing all chance.
MEANT TO BE - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.

TYRON'S CONNOISSEUR - slow early.
I GOT CHILLS - raced wide early.
CHASE ME - raced wide early.
BAR LOUIE - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
CONFEDERATE - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
LINCOLN LOU - broke in the score up but was in position by the candy pole.
SUGAR RAY LINCOLN - raced wide from the 950m. Paced roughly rounding the final bend.

PARADISE ALI - lay inwards and contacted a track marker rounding the final bend.
VAL THORENS - raced wide early and middle stages. Driver T Mitchell advised that he received a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
FATHER BARRY - raced wide early and middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
BOLT FOR THE HILL - raced wide throughout.
ALDEBARAN D B - broke rounding the first bend and shifted outwards briefly locking wheels with STONE COLD losing ground.
STONE COLD - briefly locked wheels with ALDEBARAN D B first bend.
PANTANI - held up until inside the final 50m. Driver D Butcher advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
BOUNCE N BEYOND - raced wide early.

AKATEA - lay outwards over the concluding stages.
DUCHESS MEGXIT - shifted out early in the run home but was corrected by Driver Z Butcher.
MANTRA - lay inwards and raced greenly over the early stages hampering an inside runner. Paced roughly entering and rounding the first bend. Held up early stages of the run home.
FRISCO BAY - back from position at dispatch. Driver M McKendry was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice.
HAWKEYE PIERCE - raced wide early. Driver T Herlihy advised that the sulky tyre deflated during the running.
ALWAYS B ELITE - raced wide throughout.
IRON BRIGADE - over-raced middle stages.
AYE AYE CAPTAIN - raced wide with cover from the 1000m.
JEREMIAH - raced wide early.
BETTER KNUCKLE UP - hampered racing into the first bend. Over-raced middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend. Awkwardly placed to the inside of IRON BRIGADE and broke when both runners shifted ground simultaneously when attempting to utilise the passing lane near the 150m. Stewards questioned drivers C Hackett and G Sugars regarding this matter and after hearing their evidence and viewing the replays Stewards were unable to apportion blame onto any one horse or driver and took the matter no further.
Race 7   TAB GOLDEN GAIT AGED R63 - R99 MOBILE PACE
INVISIBLE - held up throughout the run home.
FERNLEIGH CASH - over-raced early and middle stages. Held up late in the run home.
SKIPPER - lay inwards and was briefly hampered approaching the 50m.
MIKI SHAN - raced wide early. Held up early and middle stages of the run home and shifted outwards briefly hampering SKIPPER which had lay inwards near the 50m.
SOONER THE BETTOR - lay inwards early stages of the run home when Driver S Phelan was activating the removable deafeners and then had some difficulty obtaining clear running.
JOLIMONT - raced wide early.
KANGO - raced wide early. Again raced wide from the 900m. Lay inwards rounding the final bend.
LADY OF THE LIGHT - held up throughout the run home.
Race 8   TAB GOLDEN GAIT AGED R61 - R79 MOBILE TROT
VORONOV - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CON GRAZIA LOVE - lay outwards throughout the run home.
AMERICAN MUSCLE - raced wide without cover throughout.
SHEZ BELLA - raced wide with cover throughout.
TAYLAD TO USE - lay inwards and contacted a track marker near the 250m. Held up early stages of the run home.
DREAM OF YOU - shifted ground outwards forcing an outside runner wider on the track near the 1050m. Driver D Balle admitted a breach of Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c). After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee issued a fine of $400. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home with driver D Balle not activating the removable deafeners in consequence.
ALL CASHED UP(AUS) - forced to race wider on the track near the 1050m.
LORD POPINJAY - held up early stages of the run home.
Race 9   TAB GOLDEN GAIT AGED R48 - R61 MOBILE PACE
FIFTH AND FINAL - lay inwards contacting track markers entering the first bend.
WHAT A MINX - weakened final bend.
BARBAROSSA - raced wide early. Broke near the 900m when being steadied off the back of WICKED WANDA with the offside connecting strap breaking whilst in the gallop. The gelding settled quickly but was not persevered with. This gear was inspected and had found to have been in satisfactory condition. Driver T Herlihy reported that the gelding had been striking its own sulky wheel discs.
WICKED WANDA - raced wide early.
Race 10   TAB GOLDEN GAIT AGED R38 - R47 MOBILE TROT
BRIENNE - unable to hold the back of the leader entering the front for the first time which enabled BANGKOK BETTY to shift down to fill that position.
BANGKOK BETTY - contacted track markers rounding the final bend. Driver J Dickie was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. Broke passing the 150m losing all chance.
ARADNE - pre-race warmed.
SANS AU REVOIR - raced wide from the 1100m.
EYRE I WILL - held up early final bend and early stages of the run home. Lay outwards over the concluding stages.
A TROPHY WIFE - lay inwards near the 1250m contacting a track marker. Held up throughout the run home.
DOLLY P - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened near the 600m.
