The start was delayed due to LOVEYOURMOTHER requiring a sulky change.
PATRICE - broke at the start losing ground.
LOVEYOURMOTHER - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Raced greenly and hung inwards final bend striking track markers when weakening.
EDICT - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend.
CHAL VEE POWER - over-raced middle stages.
FRANCO MOTU - lay inwards early in the run home and briefly shifted into the passing lane having to be corrected by driver C Thornley.
LOCHDARRAGH - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend. Driver C Dalgety advised a sulky tyre deflated in the early stages. Mr Dalgety was issued a warning to start wider on the track when drawn unruly in future.
Race 2   WOODLANDS 2025 YEARLING DRAFT JUNIOR DRIVERS MARES MOB PACE
MILLWOOD GODDESS - held up final bend.
FERNZ GOLDY - weakened final bend.
MAJOR PERFORMER - raced wide early.
ZARLINI - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Raced wide early. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
INDIANA ARDEN - failed to circle in the pre-race formation and a warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
ONWARDSANDUPWARDS - raced wide early.
LAKELSA - sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 750m with the tyre coming off the rim in the run home. Driver K Newman advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MILOU - over-raced through the middle stages and struck the sulky wheel of LAKELSA near the 750m despite the efforts of driver C Dalgety. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
ELLIE FRANCO - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards throughout the run home.

SILVERLININGS - held up briefly leaving the final bend.
BRETT'S MATE - raced wide from the 850m.
ROYAL GRACE - held up early in the run home.
CLYDE - trotted roughly late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early. Hung inwards through the middle stages causing driver C Thornley some difficulty.
STYX JEWEL - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Trotted roughly in the run home having to be steadied by driver W House.
MAJESDIX - held up final bend.
PRINCE TEKA - weakened final bend.
Race 4   FAHEY FENCE HIRE PACE
HANOI FRANCO - fractious prior to the start and shifted up the track before breaking as the start was effected losing ground. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
MELTON MAGNATE - held up early in the run home and again over the concluding stages.
VERMEER LUSTRE - paced roughly passing the 700m losing ground. Weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner.
MAJOR HENRY - over-raced middle stages.
MY TEN GUITARS - paced roughly and lay inwards entering the first bend and raced inside several track markers. Raced wide from the 1200m.
FRANCO CHAPLIN - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Retired from the race after a hopple carrier came adrift. This gear was inspected and found to be in good condition and sufficiently taped with trainer B Waldron deemed not to be at fault.
RUSHKINOFF - pre-race warmed. Lay inwards for a distance passing the 1000m.
ZIA BROMAC - raced wide from the 1400m.
SOPHIA BROMAC - raced wide from the 900m.
Race 5   SAUNDERS ROBINSON BROWN MOBILE PACE
SHEPHERDS DELIGHT - over-raced middle stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
MIKI'S COURAGE - lay inwards and paced roughly at the start.
COMMANDER JOE - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Morrison advised the gelding had over-raced during the middle stages with the effort taking its toll.
FRANCO HOFFMAN - over-raced middle stages.
WOTSONYAMIND - lay outwards when over-racing in the early stages.
TEMPO WARRIOR - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home. Driver S Ottley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
MAGICIAN - pre-race warmed.
Race 6   KILRAY PLUMBING & GAS HANDICAP TROT
HOLLY HIGHLANDER - trainer K Fairbairn advised the mare would be racing in season. Crowded by an outside runner and struck track markers passing the 1100m.
KNOWING ME - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming. Broke again rounding the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
THE PRESENT MAKER - broke at the start losing all chance.
CORMORAN STRIKE - driver R Close was issued a warning for crowding an inside runner which struck track markers passing the 1100m.
NAZARETH - trotted roughly through the middle stages. Again trotted roughly final bend before breaking near the 250m losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 7   EAST WEST FENCING SUMMER CUP (FREE-FOR-ALL) MOBILE PACE
LIFE OF ART - paced roughly in the early stages. Over-raced middle stages.
MO'UNGA - driver R Close advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 8   PEEK EXHIBITION FILLIES & MARES CHRISTMAS BONUS MOBILE TROT
BRIANNA - hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend. Driver D McCormick admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr McCormick's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 22 December 2024 (2 days).
THE GARDENER'S PRIDE - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
NOAH MAGNIFIC - broke near the 150m losing all chance.
RUSH - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S Ottley. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Trotted roughly in the run home.
MISS YO - pre-race warmed.

VIN'S DEAL - broke after 200m hampering outside runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
BETTER BE QUICK - hampered by a breaking runner after 200m. Lay outwards throughout the run home.
STORMY VISTA - hampered by a breaking runner after 200m.
LA CONCHA - lay outwards in the run home.
ZOOM X - over-raced middle stages.
CAUGHT THE EYE - lay inwards rounding the final bend and in the run home causing driver T Williams some difficulty.

LORD MUDRICK - driver C Butt was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
GEORGIE ZUKOV - over-raced middle stages.
TOBY TOM B - over-raced for a distance passing the 2000m when being restrained to obtain cover. Held up final bend and throughout the run home. Driver O Thornley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
FLYAWAY - paced roughly in the early stages. Lay inwards final bend.
WINNYZBACK - raced wide early.
A BETTER JACKALACK - paced roughly in the early stages.
SHAKE A LEG - when questioned regarding the performance trainer S Reid advised the gelding may be feeling the effects of recent racing and he would be sending the horse for a spell.
