Race 1   LONE STAR ALEX PARK - NORTHERN METRO SERIES HEAT 1 HCP TROT
FIGHT FOR FREEDOM - broke entering the first bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
SANINARMBRO - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages.
BARSUKOV - raced wide early.
A TROPHY WIFE - fractious prior to the start.
Race 2   DUNSTAN - NORTHERN METRO PACERS SERIES HT 1 MOB PACE
SPIRIT OF WAIHEKE - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
GOTTA GO MIKI - raced wide early. Raced four wide from the 750m.
DOUBLE PARKED - required assistance from a Starting Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
LEO LINCOLN - paced roughly shortly after the line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.
FIFTH AND FINAL - paced roughly over the early stages. Over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards and broke briefly passing the 300m losing ground.

BEAUDIENE HUNTER - broke near the 200m. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
TYSON - lay inwards entering the first bend when racing wide. Continued to lay inwards for a distance proving difficult for Driver B Orange.
AVENTADOR - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
DEBBIE LINCOLN - raced wide early stages. Held up throughout the run home.
THE JOLLY ROGER - required assistance from a Starting Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke near the 450m losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Connections advised they would be making gear changes prior to this runner racing next.
I GOT CHILLS - held up early stages of the run home.
Race 4   TAB QUEEN OF DIAMONDS HANDICAP TROT
EAGLE HANOVER - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
IT AIN'T ME BABE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
EUROSTYLE - raced wide from the 1400m and then raced four wide leaving the 1000m for a distance.
AROHA KENNY - raced wide from the 1400m.
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - when questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher could offer no tangible reason other than he was disappointed. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Race 5   LINCOLN FARMS FRANKLIN CUP HANDICAP PACE
INVISIBLE - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
VILLAGE REBEL - fractious prior to the start requiring assistance from a Starting Attendant. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
JOLIMONT - reared as the start was effected hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
KANGO - hampered shortly after the start and then broke shifting inwards losing all chance. Authorisation of placings were withheld until Stewards had spoken to Driver D Butcher who confirmed his chances were effected after the barrier had released and that his gelding had over-reacted.
BETTER ECLIPSE - Trainer J Tubbs was issued a warning for the late notification of blinds. Hampered shortly after the start. Over-raced middle stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver G Sugars advised that he was slightly disappointed with the manner in which the gelding finished the race off. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Race 6   WOODLANDS STUD QUEEN OF HEARTS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
MR KAPLAN - over-raced middle stages.
LADY OF THE LIGHT - raced wide early.
DUCHESS MEGXIT - raced wide from the 600m.
PRINCESS MERITATEN - lay inwards and paced roughly rounding the final bend and for a distance early in the run home shifting outwards when being corrected near the 150m. Driver B Butt advised that the mare had been striking a knee.
DANCE TILL DAWN - over-raced middle stages.
Race 7   SUPERIOR CABINS - NORTHERN METRO PACERS SERIES HT 2 MOB PACE
MINJEE - over-raced early and middle stages.
IDOLOU - held up late in the run home.
MHAI SURFER GIRL - held up throughout the run home.
LE MAJOR - held up throughout the run home.
THE SURFER - had difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight then lay outwards under pressure near the 50m with Driver D Butcher not activating the deafeners as a result.
FERNETTI - raced wide early.
Race 8   REMBROS GOLF - NORTHERN METRO SERIES HEAT 2 HCP TROT
ROMEO FOXTROT - lay outwards near the 150m hampering KAIPAKI JACK momentarily despite the efforts of Driver Z Butcher.
DREAMS PAT - broke briefly shortly after the start and shifted inwards hampering an inside runner. Broke near the 1400m losing ground. Broke again near the 350m losing ground.
KAIPAKI JACK - hampered shortly after the start. Briefly hampered near the 150m.
BOLT FOR THE HILL - slow early losing ground. Driver S Burley advised that she was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
Race 9   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION MOBILE PACE
ROMANTICISM - paced roughly over the early stages losing ground. Over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly near the 700m losing ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SPIRITED PEGGY - shifted into the passing lane near the 150m forcing SEA OF LOVE over several track markers. An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the manner in which Junior Driver M Ranger drove when allowing her runner to shift into the passing lane in the run home.
SEA OF LOVE - forced to race inside track markers for a distance passing the 150m when outside runner shifted inwards. In considering this matter Stewards were satisfied that SPIRITED PEGGY was fully established to the inside of LOU WILL prior to the passing lane therefore SPIRITED PEGGY was not entitled to shift into the passing lane. In accordance with Rule 869(7B) Stewards were satisfied that there were no grounds for a protest against SEA OF LOVE's 3rd placing.
TUAREG - paced roughly near the 50m and then broke over the concluding stages being lapped on by ABMAN. Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 870(5) against the 4th placing being awarded alleging the gelding was lapped on at the finish. After viewing the replays connections did not contest the protest and TUAREG was relegated to 5th placing by Stewards.
LOU WILL - raced greenly rounding the final bend when leading and shifted outwards presenting a run to SPIRITED PEGGY. Lay inwards late in the run home having to be straightened by Driver T Cameron. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
CRANACHAN - paced roughly in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
