When asked to comment on the improved performance driver R Austin advised that the gelding had raced without luck when held up in its most recent start, adding that he was not surprised by the forward showing today. | |

A subsequent veterinary examination revealed swelling to the left fore fetlock and pastern with the gelding being transported to an equine hospital for x-rays and further assessment. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming. |
