BOBBIES ROCK - held up in the middle stages of the run home. Driver D Anderson reported he did not release the removable deafeners in consequence. Stewards questioned Mr Anderson, assisted by N Williamson, regarding his decision to shift ground outwards prior to the passing lane resulting in his runner being held up in the run home. After hearing from Mr Anderson and Mr Williamson, Stewards issued a charge under Rule 868(2) which Mr Anderson admitted, in that he failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to ensure he finished in the best possible position. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Anderson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 4 January 2025 (5 days). | |
