Race 1   BOOK NOW FOR AUCKLAND CUP ON NYE AT ALEX PARK HANDICAP TROT
BARSUKOV - stood on the mark when the barriers were released hampering ILSAS SON and lost ground.
JASINOVA - required assistance from a Starting Attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Shifted down into the passing lane early in the run home before being corrected hampering a trailing runner. Driver L Chin was issued a warning. Dr Chin reported that the sulky received a punctured tyre when struck by the trailing runner in this incident.
ARADNE - hampered briefly early in the run home when attempting to improve into the passing lane.
ILSAS SON - hampered at the start. Broke rounding the first turn hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
SHESGOLD - held up over the final stages of the run home.
DREAMS PAT - slow early from its 20m handicap and trailed the field throughout. When questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver D Balle stated that after being slow early the gelding had lost ground when hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first turn before continuing to have difficulty negotiating the turns in what was this runner's first race right handed for some time.
FATHER BARRY - pre-race warmed.
Race 2   NZB STANDARDBRED - 2YO FILLIES MOBILE PACE
PRINCESS LISA - lay in before weakening rounding the final turn.
GIFTED BRIGADE - became fractious when called forward by the starter and had to be straightened by an attendant which resulted in the filly leaving the pre-race formation out of order briefly hampering another runner. Raced greenly at various stages.
PRINCESS GRACY - broke briefly racing into the first turn losing ground.
TWISTED SISTER - pre-race warmed. Hampered in the initial stages of the score up before then going to run out the birdcage gate and took no part. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(e) for unsatisfactory manners. In taking this course of action Stewards took into account Driver T Cameron's explanation that the filly had proved difficult during the preliminary when wanting to run out the birdcage gate so he had intended to put this runner on the mobile in the early stages of the score up but had been unable to do so when briefly hampered by another runner. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners.
Race 3   DUNSTAN SPEEDFEED TROT
CYCLONE SALA - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Hampered by a breaking runner entering the first turn and broke briefly. Weakened final turn.
SKEE PRINCESS - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
REWIRI HILL - Trainer D Balle was warned for presenting the gelding to race without the notified blinds.
SHERRY HILL - Driver D Butcher was warned to start wider on the track when drawn unruly in future. Broke rounding the first turn hampering trailing runners and lost all chance.
HAYLEY MHOR - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
KENNY HILL - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first turn.
Race 4   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS MOBILE PACE
SAYS WHO - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner and settled at the rear. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Raced three wide from the 950m before weakening final turn.
MAJOR BREAK - the off fore bandage came adrift on the final turn. Trainer J Teaz was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to ensure the bandage was affixed so as not to come adrift. Lay in final turn contacting a track marker.
MACK PACK - lay in final turn contacting a track marker.
DELIGHTFUL CHIC - lay in contacting a track marker passing the 1300m. Lay in through the early stages of the run home.
WALTZING WITH MIKI - when questioned regarding the performance Driver J Stormont stated the gelding was fresh up after a spell and will derive benefit from the run.
Race 5   DUNSTAN SPEEDFEED MOBILE PACE
SUGAR RAY LINCOLN - broke near the 1450m when outside the leader hampering trailing runners before settling towards the the rear. A warning was placed on the colt's racing manners. Paced roughly near the 450m.
LEO LINCOLN - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1450m.
TUGAWAR - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1450m. Lay in approaching the 100m locking wheels with an inside runner. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
MESSENGER BUOY - raced wide early before being restrained to secure a position midfield in the running line near the 1400m. Checked when locking wheels with an outside runner near the 100m.
KEVIN KLINE - broke when taking evasive action near the 1450m losing ground before settling.
TYSON - had to take evasive action near the 1450m.
LINCOLN LOU - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear. Broke when being steadied off the back of LEO LINCOLN near the 1450m losing ground before settling. Checked in the run home when having to take evasive action near the 100m.
NELSON'S BOY - broke rounding the final turn losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 6   TAB QUEEN OF DIAMONDS PRELUDE HANDICAP TROT
AMERICAN MUSCLE - lay in rounding the final turn contacting track markers.
EMILY BAY - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
LOVE ON LINE - Co-Trainers D & C McGowan were warned for presenting the mare to race without the notified sliding blinds.
KISS AND RUN - lay out at various stages when leading.
VIRGINIA CLOWERS - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Trotted roughly through the middle stages.
EUROSTYLE - Co-Trainers D & A Jones were warned for being late to notify the mare would be racing without the notified blinds. Broke racing into the first turn losing all chance. When questioned Driver B Butt advised that the mare, which was having its first race right handed, had failed to handle the first turn and had difficulty negotiating further turns when trailing the field.
Race 7   THAMES GOLDFIELDS SUMMER CUP HANDICAP PACE
DAWSON - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days,
MIKI SHAN - broke near the 100m when disappointed for a run to the inside of AYE AYE CAPTAIN in the passing lane. After questioning Drivers M McKendry (MIKI SHAN), T Mitchell (AYE AYE CAPTAIN) and viewing the replays blame could not be solely attributed to either driver and Stewards took the matter no further other than to note the circumstances.
Race 8   CADUCEUS CLUB NORTHERN BREEDERS STAKES MOBILE PACE
SEASIDE ROSE - lay in rounding the final turn contacting track markers.
SEACLUSION - Driver J Stormont reported that the mare cast the near fore shoe.
Race 9   THAMES MEMBERS HANDICAP TROT
SANINARMBRO - over-raced middle stages.
HALBERG - lay in rounding the first turn.
PANTANI - broke passing the 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. Trainer D Butcher advised that he would be making alterations to this runner's shoeing.
GOLD BULLION - Trainer B Butt was warned for presenting the gelding to race with blinds which were not notified. Mr Butt advised that he didn't activate the removable deafeners due to this runner trotting roughly.
MATTY A - late scratching at 9am due to an office error.
ALL CASHED UP(AUS) - broke passing the 100m losing all chance.
Race 10   NOEL FOX MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
MINJEE - over-raced early and middle stages.
FRISCO BAY - raced wide early.
IRON BRIGADE - over-raced middle stages.
HOORAY HENRY - lay in contacting track markers near the 1250m.
THE SURFER - had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the home straight with Driver T Mitchell not activating the deafeners as a result.
Race 11   GOLDEN GAIT NIGHT AT ALEX PARK ON DEC 20 MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when CRISTIANO BUCCINI broke early in the score up checking other runners several of which broke. Driver B Butt elected to maintain his allocated barrier position. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
BETTOR REACTION - over-raced in the score-up. Lay out rounding the turns.
ONYX SHARD - paced roughly shortly after the start.
COMMANDER LINCOLN - lay in and contacted a track marker near the 1250m.
CRISTIANO BUCCINI - weakened final turn.
LITTLE HOOFANANNY - lay in contacting a track marker near the 1300m.
Race 12   AUCKLAND CO-OP TAXIS 300-3000 1 WIN TROT
EYE SEE YOU - connections advised that the gelding has had both hocks treated since last racing. Broke at the start losing all chance.
VAL THORENS - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
PARADISE ALI - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
DOLLY P - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final turn.
STONE COLD - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Lay in rounding the final turn contacting track markers.
